Have you ever forgotten to brake?

Best I've done was racing at Monza in the FGT championship, winning fairly comfortably with about 3 laps left. Decided just to have a check around my car for damage out of the Ascari curves. Front wing slightly bent a bit, no other damage... Change view back to normal just as I leave the track straight into the parabolica wall....
 
Maybe not 'forgotten to' but on several occasions at the start of a race my pedals aren't calibrated and when I push the brakes nothing happens.

I get flashbacks of when that happened in my old Jeep.
 
I took a girl gokarting once who drove into the barriers because her arms were "too tired to steer".

I forget occasionally on Circuit de la Sarthe. I'll be trying to overtake my opponent when all of a sudden I fly past them and think "oh bother, a turn".
 
Yep, I've done that many times before the busstop at Daytona RC...usually on the first lap....

The other thing I tend to do is after driving a while I brake less and less as you kinda find the rhythm and sometimes I just pushed it too far and braked not enough....
 
I had a bit of brain fade a while ago, I pressed the clutch down instead of the brake. I didn't realise until a good 100m into my braking point. :dunce:
 
I've done it quite a few times.
Mostly so on Fuji (I keep forgetting to look for those brake markers)
 
I notoriously do it at Tokyo R246, the first corner. I think I launched those loose tires to planet krypton once in my Toyota 88C-V.
 
Im a very aggressive driver but never forget to brake, maybe I'll 'under-brake' but I never forget.

I'm worried for Enduros as my tires wouldn't last long with my style.

Full out in a Ferrari and completely forgot to brake coming into turn one at Monza. I hate that track.
 
When I was 16 I forgot to hit the brakes into the back of a Ford Probe. Does that count?
