Yes, I know this feeling, a friend wanted a Sauber C9 and was willing to trade a prototype muira and ferrari P4.

I needed my Sauber C9 for Le Mans 24hr a spec, so I bought another from used and sent message to ''friend'' (ahem...cough...cough...) saying I was ready to trade, only for him to reply that he'd got a Sauber from someone else, but ''forgot'' to tell me..

This was a week after I bought an Audi R8 LMS and R35gtr Le Mans car from used, only to win them in endurance races the following two days..

Anyone else wasted 10 million on cars?????

When I was going to be the gallardo event on the professional events I didn't have one, so I went to Lamborghini Dealer and I didn't pay attention on what I was buying, the result: I spend almost 400,000 credits in the murcielago SV because I confused it with the gallardo :indiff:
 
I've bought quite a few cars that I didn't really need at the time, which has probably set me back in terms of my progress (only got GT5 3 days ago), but I wanted them just in case they didn't come round again.

Such as 190 Evo, 205 T16 (came in useful though), Turbo 5, Alpine A310, Giulia Sprint (which I then won grrrrr), M3 GTR (which has actually come in handy), Caterham Fireblade, Prowler, Countach 25th Anniversary, Griffith, Spyker etc.

I have at least managed to resist buying **** japanese classics just because they're there, but if I had more money I'd have a whole loada crap, just because I like old cars.

Does anyone else wonder from time to time whether they like Gran Turismo because they enjoy car racing games, or because they know it's the closest they'll ever get to owning these cars for real?

Oh yeah, I paid 5.5 million for a Citreon race car and won one a couple days later. Paid a little under 3 million for that Vertigo race car, only to find out it goes around corners like a Lincoln Continental. Still kind of fun to race it against slow cars though, it accelerates like you've been shot out of a cannon.

I'm 42, and it's still a nice fantasy world for me.

I can't say any cars I've bought in game have been stupid, but I can't say they were the best uses of my money in game in terms of progress. I always wanted to tweak up a 280Z IRL, so I have one in game. Same goes for the Chevelle SS and a few others.

I'll buy a Triumph Spitfire if I see one in the used car lot because I used to have one as a teenager and have fond memories of driving it, pushing it home, playing "find the part that fell off on the side of the road". The sparks from the Lucas electronics under the dash lighting up my lap as I drove at night with the top down... Ahh memories.

When gt1 was out I never thought I could own one. Years later have a 04 srt viper sitting in the garage :D It can happen for everyone, just work hard!
 
Enzo,F40,MP-12C,ACR...All of them fully tuned and game don't give me an opportunity to use them instead of others...
(there are few more cars that seems to waste a money but I love them...)

Edit: I just bought ~150.000 RM Cappuccino for my lvl 2 bob...And it's amazing! :D

I bought an Amuse S2000 GT1 and an AEM S2000 and now I've just discovered that you can win them...

There are two different Amuse GT1's,one is a 04 standard and the other you buy is a 06 premium.
