Having a slight issue mounting my G29 pedals to my stand

It's all DIY wood and I'm trying to move them further back. The bolts I have are slightly threading the grooves in the pedal mounts but it's a hair thin enough to slide right out with enough force. I can't find anything else that fits perfectly. It's all too small or too big to even fit in.

What is the best way to go about this? Trying to make the bolt wider with a layer of glue or something OR putting something in the holes for the bolts to form new grooves on and it will thread those? It's really weird that nothing fits perfectly. When people buy expensive wheel stands do they come with bolts and it's universal for all companies' mounts?

Bolts going into the pedals should be M6. It's important to get the length right - too short and they will just catch the thread, but will pop out because the end of the bolts' thread is slightly tapered. So 5mm longer bolts might do the trick. Logitech's PDF says how deep the bolts can go wihtout issue. If that's not what's happening then I've failed to understand your description :)

Pretty much. It's almost impossible to line then up from underneath and have all six go in straight. Basically from floor up it's a board of wood and then the pedals, with bolts going through the wood into the pedals.

To make it easier I'm making the wood holes large enough to see clearly through and adding a washer to the bolts so they catch on the wood and tighten up. Makes sense?

Should work, but if the bolts are a bit short already then washers will make them even shorter!

I used Furniture Joint Connector Bolts for mine, M6x35mm since my base is about 20mm thick and 15mm into the pedals is what Logitech say. They don't catch much thread, but it's enough.

My wood base is about 10mm or 1cm think. So 25mm should do, 30mm would be ideal, 35 is too much.
