True, but in some places, such as Montreal, there is graffiti that is at least worthy of staying on a building for a day or two. It seems better to classify it as "criminal art".
Now, those scrawlings that you see on railroad boxcars? That's nothing but a huge load of [censored].
That's not to say that I still disagree with you, though.
So if you buy a Ferrari and some punk spray paints "criminal art" on it, you wont be mad and you'll leave it there.
Buildings are expensive ya know
Quite true, has the graffiti problem stopped yet?
Yup, that's Florida for ya.
I'm glad I don't live there anymore

Then stay off of private property that is not yours, and don't vandalize other people's buildings.I'm glad I don't live there anymore.I like my life, thank you.
:-)

Are they actually "tagging" the building, or just painting crap on the sides?
Actual tagging is considered gang activity in a lot of places and the tags are like a dog pissing on a hydrant or tree to mark his territory.
If it's just crude "art" much of the above should eventually do the trick.
If it is indeed gang ****, your problem is likely way bigger than you originally thought.
I thought of the paint ball idea too, but you never know if whoever is spray painting the wall has a real gun. Then again, a well placed pant ball shot to the temple would take care of the gun issue
I'll have to look into that paint, thanks for the link, and thanks for all the suggestions
EDIT: If they start to do other things to the building after we paint over it and wont stop, i could very easily and legally put a bullet in this kids head. If i had a licensed gun, and i caught this kid in the act of damaging my property, Florida law states that if i feel threatened by him, or if i ask him to leave three times and he refuses, i am allowed to shoot him![]()
You kinda glossed over the "if I feel threatened by him" part. You have to be in fear of your life to shoot someone, except in your own home. A stranger inside your house is fair game. Elsewhere, if your life is in danger, you MUST flee if possible (you're driving and a kid on foot has a baseball bat - drive away, shooting him is murder), but defend yourself if flight is not possible.
You can also shoot a person threatening a 3rd party's life.
If your life (or somebody else's) is not in danger, there is no justication for shooting. You can't shoot a guy in the back who's running away with your wallet. If you can reach your gun while his knife is in your face, then by all means drop him.
Also, as far as I know, there's no magic "ask 3 times" rule.
About the laws, if I was inside a car and someone with a gun tried to car jack me, Could i kill him?

I'd say the best bet in a situation like that would be to stomp on the gas and hope for the best.
Or, you know, let him have the car and let the police and insurance take care of the rest
