Hahaha, alright, alright, you changed it.
Anyways, that video is awesome. Hayabusas can be awesome. End of post.

EDIT: uponone.com is awesome, too!

Now thats fast, the speedo stops at 220mph but judging by the revs it reached about 245mph :scared:

Plus he was taking it pretty easy will about 60. I just did not think a bike could go that fast, that fast. :shakeshead:

Now you guys know why I don't ride my '01 929RR anymore. It literally scared me ****less. In a car that kind of accelleration is alright, but when the object going that fast is a 400lb bike with your ass loosely planted on top of it it's ****ing outright scarey.

I tried racing a Hayabusa with exhaust somewhere in Mississippi. At 80mph he got on it, and broke the back tire lose. After I witnessed that I just kind of sat there in shock not knowing what the **** to do. When I got on it it was too late, and he had already pulled like 20 car lengths in a matter of 3 seconds. His buddyies GSXR-1000 was weak, though.

That video started quite a bit of dram back in the day. Everyone said the bike was geared, the speedo was rigged, etc. All I know is a stock Hayabusa won't get to 220mph near that fast.

I can understand how a bike can go that fast. What I dont understand is how anyone can hold on to it. That guy must have the arms of an orangutang!

Dayem, my uncle has a 2001 Yamaha R1, with hindle pipe, damn that thing flies like hell.

Hey it's a 929RR like Josh's.

Amazing! I've not seen acceleration like that since I drove my G35 yesterday!

👍

Josh how fast have you taken the 929RR upto?

I got it up to around 145-150-ish back when it was still my Dad's. Once he bought his Dyna Wide Glide Custom he gave it to me. After that I rode it like two times, realized I didn't want to die, and put her in storage with some of our other toys.

I'm still looking into buying an R6, or 600RR, but I'm not too sure - they still scare me.

Gotta admit, it's damn fun openinig her up on the highway. ;)

I'm planning on getting a 600RR, when I get my licence. It's much cheaper than a car. In about 3 years, they will be old machines it will probably cost me around $6-$7,000. There selling brand new ones for around $10,000 here(canadian currency).

I saw a silver 600RR with chrome rims, and after-market pipes(the undertail since th 600RR comes with undertail exhuast system)

Just so everyone knows's this video is fake, It was dicussed on a forum over a year ago by bike experts and was discovered to be fake. Besides look how fast everything passes the side roads.. etc. The whole video is a big fake,The guages are a hoax too.

I believe it, I know that a stock Hayabusa has been clocked at 305km/h, but now it's electronically stopped at I think it was 290km/h? Maybe those guages are not in MPH maybe there in KM/H.

No, I wouldn't say that this video is fake. It's just normal, that when you film yourself while driving, it doesn't look as fast, as it is. And the gauges are MPH (because the inner circle shows the KMH).

So you're saying what everyone saw isn't real? As in the bike was fake? The rider was fake? I feel so....cheated on.

No, I think he's saying that the rider messed with the guages to show that it's going faster than it really is.
