Np, I was just kidding. It's basically when you pres start on your SSRX menu and hold X (or your gas button) through the "black screen", when the game loads basically. This gives you the same time every time.
 
Yes you can. But it doesn't matter because times are slower then with timed launch, only thing black screen launch is good for is consistency.

Yes, but you must keep holding your gas button through the black screen and never let go of it while running your car, or you get a different time.

You'll find out on Monday night :)...lets just say I wouldn't waste my time, the Lexus 430 EU/US destroys it....no, annihilates it and it runs mid 10.6's.

Oh, I'm done with it too, very inconsistent car even with black screen launches. I'll probably sell it to be rid if it.

Oh wait, your supposed to tune that too lol. Sorry :)

Lol, honda wanted to have good low-end torque... they did a little trade with the high end torque and low end torque from previous engines. :lol:
 
I feel like a fool, I run very solid ssrx times, but I don't really understand the graphs. I know that if you have a wacky graph, like the honda, you're gonna probably have a slower car.

Does black screen launch gives you the same time on every play station model? I had friends that never did a timed launch and got way faster times than a regular black screen launch?

Black screen should be the same on all PS3s. What your friends probably did was wait for the game to load and then press X when already on track with their car loaded. This will not give you one consistent time but a lot of different ones depending on when you start to rev your car. This does not count as a black screen launch, more of a full throttle launch.

Black screen launch, on the same car, if you keep X down while the black screen, will always get you the same time on one same car, no matter what PS3.
 
I been drinking to much jägerbombs so I'm drunk and can't fall asleep cause of the red bull. There are no good drag lobbies right now. All I see is ff lobbies
