Good job, makes me want to open the magazine :).

10 cars, that must be Race 2...?

I'm guessing here, give me a break.

Now that I can publicly release the details, I love the action of the photo. It shows how many cars are trying to squeeze through the Turn 1 braking zone, but without looking unrealistic.

Edit: All videos finished. *yawn* I should sleep. Goodnight guys. I'll edit/upload all of the videos later today. :)

i'm like a second rate non playable character in a story. i have no backstory.
i'm going to cry now

Yes i agree that Mazda is/was little too fast (or is't the drivers?). I would slow it down little bit by weight? -10hp is too much? I'm ok with both - reduce HP or add weight - it's your call and so i leave it to you.
That said, I'd like it, if I could know whether the general consensus is similar or not. Do you agree, that the Mazdas were faster in the straights?

Tested the Seat with 266bhp.
Boy now it´s a totally different Car. Can´t break the 2:05.2 Barrier.
-10bhp means for me 1second slower !!

Maybe adding some weight is a better way to slow the Seat down. I totally dominated the Straights I think, espacially against the BMW.

I´m coming back 28th of September since than I can´t do any testings, maybe tonight but after TOCA I´m maybe a bit tired but I try (1225kg / 276bhp for the beginning).

It's true, I'm adding another championship to the series; for all of you who are young drivers on their way to becoming one of GTP's fastest racing drivers, I'm providing a little bit more incentive to fight hard for average points; every position will count, every battle, every penalty. Welcome to the world of racing, gentlemen (and perhaps women??)

Oh, and I've updated the OP with a bunch more Driver Bios, and updated some.

I'm 15 and I come from Latvia, does that give me the permission to compete there? :sly: BTW, great Bio's, Andrew! 👍

Hmm, so I'm still missing from Driver's lists and stewards list...

Any special rules for Cape Ring?

It seems the Focus is overpowered. Running a full second faster than BMW And 2-3 faster than Mazda.

Ford is a 5 cylinder Car with big Torque. It accels veery good and If you have a decent setup it turns great too. (so the Mazda and the Seat for me all three are pretty close although Seat has low Torque due to 1.8l engine)

Lemme ask a quick question.... is 1:54.399 good around Tokyo?

Not a bad time at all. I was in the mid-1:53s on a full out (AKA lucky) flying lap, and in testing I could get low to mid 1:54s pretty consistently. Which car are you using?

I'm using the Ford Focus, and I still have about 17 bhp to spare. It's only at 259 bhp right now.

Just dropping in, and rather audacious claim in title...

Nice cover nascarfan by the way 👍

Well then you are doing excellently! You can tune the car up to the maximum and then use the power limiter, if you haven't already. Sounds like you have good pace.

It was most certainly my 25 second win at GVE. That was very closely contested.

 Lancer Polar

Oh noes! I've forgotten you! :(

Well, I'll try both. Mazda seems fast, but according to nascar, the Mazda is actually a slow car.

So, you'll miss Rounds 1, 2, and 3? Okay. October's going to be a fun month. Maybe I'll try adding weight to the SEAT, too.

You're already signed up for ITCC Rising Star. It's the other people who may or may not be below 18 years old who haven't informed me... And polar. Polar's in that too.

Hmm, so I'm still missing from Driver's lists and stewards list...

So, Willfred and you don't have your rightful places on the OP/second posts. :( I'll fix that today.

One race yesterday was almost a tie; 0.017 separating 3 cars. ;) that's closely contested.

Mel when is Stewards Meeting

If anyone ever informs any stewards of the need for one... I've found maybe one crash that I could look at, but the driver who may have caused it apologized and backed out. I don't think I should even bother with a penalty or anything, I think the driver involved has learned the lesson.

But, is it the most closely contested?

I think so. I don't have data from TOCA, which is the only championship that holds a candle to ITCC.......;) I have, otherwise, not seen a series with more close bumper-to-bumper racing.

Certainly, Lancer's GT300/GT500 series is not the most closely contested series on GTP; the margins of victory are normally about an hour (or maybe a minute ) each.

Given the races are shorter, MUCH shorter, I'd expect there to be a smaller margin between competition.

Well, yeah. but ITCC cars are very easy to drive quickly.

So, a lesser amount of driver talent disparity, draft, less tire-wear and, the conduct is finally resulting in fewer crashes and bumping.

The whole field acts like a spring... Once it spreads out, the draft pulls it back together.

I'm also dropping in here, to say firstly that Furi's looking for ways to boost the post-count, and Andy's logic is terrible, it's like saying the GTP Sprint Cup was the closest contested series, just because most races ended up with at least 3 cars within tenth of a second.

But whatever, furi's post is stupider.
