So, I didn't do today's worth of investigations, but I can do tomorrow.


For Grand Valley, I'd like to see everyone on slightly better behaviour. I know that Cape Ring is an exceedingly difficult place to race, and I'm glad that a majority of you were careful and clean, but I hope that you know, I'm watching for patterns. If you consistently drive in a slightly unpleasant way, I'm going to nip the problem soon.


Specifically, T1 and the double-apex right hander at the end of the lap, at Grand Valley East, must be done right. I don't want to see anyone in the sandtraps on the outside of the track in either T1 or T7 (entry to double apex right-hander/final corner.)


If you push someone off of the track, and into the gravel/sand, your penalty will be more severe than normal, including a possible time-calculated (30 seconds) stop-and-go penalty. Again, that slows the car you're bumping down more than normal, so the stewards will slow you down way more.


When you're practicing, get used to focusing on braking sooner than the other cars in front. It's a rule in the OP, I expect everyone who isn't trying a legal pass to brake sooner than the other cars in front.

So if you are coming out of a corner (say exit of T1) and somebody is not directly alongside you but has their front bumper alongside your rear, are you allowed to run wide like they do in F1 and 'run them out of road' so to speak?
It is stated in OP that it is the overtaking drivers responsibility to make sure they pass cleanly, I predict controversial penalties being given out...:scared:

Also, just a thought but have you considered introducing success ballast? So if you finish first add for example 25kg to your car, 15 for second etc or reduce the ballast on cars that finish lower down. This would encourage better racing and make it harder for the same drivers to always finish at the front, running away with the championship. It would mean you need to do spec checks for each individual driver though.

As GVE is a relatively short track it should be easier to lap 'on the limit' of what the car is capable of, so you should easily be able to see which cars are the fastest or which have a clear raw speed advantage at this event.

Sure! Official ITCC Press! :) Me and Morten had an idea for his series (Never took off :( ) that like in F1, the top three drivers of each race (For ITCC the Top 3 averages) will go to a live, all drivers in the same room, at the same time, Press Conference?

The good news is, if after doing all I can, if my internet still isn't enough, I can still be involved in the series :D

If you could pm me the videos (if theres a DL site for them too that would be awesome) I'll put them together for YT, do you want me to use your GTP name or YT name?

No, I'm in a Honda for now. Waiting on Mel to let me know what spec to run
 
I'm going on another solo act, I like the Focus too much. Might consider the Mazda 6 thing after I test it.

I'll hunt for a good teammate. If I can't find one before next Friday, I'll try for solo, see how it goes.
