i taught myself a trick. i now know how to do a tire-spin burn out in GT3. if you're bored, check it out. it's fun for a few minutes before you lose excitement.

1. Any tires do, including Supersoft. Choose a car with an engine powerful enough to run 500+ HP (or roughly 200 mph), RWD only. I tried with FWD and have been unsuccessful as of yet.

2. In settings, drop the TCS level to 0. Also, it may help to tighten the gear ratio tuning (closer to Sport settings).

3. Resume play. Promptly hit (and hold) the accelerator, initiating tirespin, and then once you redline in first gear, hit the brake (NOT E-BRAKE) and hold it. your car will sit there and spin tires as long as you hold both the accelerator and brake. To end the burnout and continue acceleration, let off the brake. You may have to shift right away into second gear, depending on the car.

teehee.

Put the brake balance ALL the way to the front, that being
Front 20-ish
Rear 1

I like doing it in my C5R, into 5th gear!! 😈

i've done that before. it's really fun if you can capture it onto PC before you come to a complete stop - like when your tires are smoking profusely, and you're barely moving.

That is not a trick, and it isnt even fun, I really wish GT3 had more convincing smoke effects, like making a smoky white cloud form around the tires. And a more realistic sound when the tires are in full loss of traction spinning. Dont get me wrong, the tire sound effects for going around turns and during normal gameplay are perfect.

:thatsodd: - whenever you're outside the car (view), and the tires are smoking, looking backwards generates a pause in the sound effects. i had my L1 on "turbo" (MC controller) and held it in for 5 seconds; the sounds was really choppy.

Have you ever played Colin Mcrae Rally 2, that has some of the most convincing tyre squeel noises Ive ever heard. Especially on the tarmac stages.
