What I mean is if I press a button, it will stay in the current position it's in.

R3 definitely does not do that in the Hunter-- thats how you start Brownthunder.


I have got the Hunter stuck on a light pole at the airport-- get in front of the light pole and swing the tail rotor up against it -- it will sort of get stuck-- you can free it if you try but it won't drift down.

I don't think you can hover in a single spot just by holding one button. You can only stablize by pushing L3.

If your press lightly on the 'X' button all choppers pretty much just hover without moving, it's all in the thumb.

Yes - L3 cancels out any direction change (if you hold it long enough), then some quick taps of X will keep you hovering pretty much on the spot.

They will drift slightly - just keep your eye on it.

Why would you want to hover for any length of time anyway?
