I HAVE EVERY THING I NEED BUT I JUST CANT BEET THE IA Licence final test to get my F1 car i want one so bad. at this point i am tempted to cheat (something i don't like doing). Please somebody heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelllllllllllp :banghead: :banghead: :confused: :confused: :mad: :mad: :banghead: :banghead: :irked: :mad: :banghead: :banghead: :grumpy:

Are you going for gold or just the license ?.. In case it's just the license (as yours truly) - Just try and try again.. It'll come.. Ohh and,... you're using manual right ?....
 
Use Manual, and WATCH the replays a lot...to learn a good line! 👍 Good luck.
 
Sorry to be so blunt. If you can't complete a single license test within an hour, it's a sign that you may not be ready yet. You may want to finish some of the other races to hone your skills a bit and then go back and try again.

i got my 1-A licence using auto...drive a stick shift in real life, but can't get the hang of a manual using an analog controller...
 
I just restarted my game useing manual. Im actually upto IA-1 and heres some tips. Don't break around the first corner just release the gas for a bit. Full speed up the hill and keep to the left. Break down to about 160 (higher if your going for gold) and pull in and through the corner. From there go full speed through the bends uptill you come to the last, break here a bit and just get a bit of a slide through it. I'm not very good but thats just some tips for ya :rolleyes:

use ghosts!

ok that was two words. but chase your ghosts... it gives you a target to follow and something to try and beat rather than just going it alone :)
 
Imagine a string being laid on the track, then imagine walls going up around the edge of the track, now pull the string end to end so that it pushes tightly against the walls, that's your racing line here. This test is more about control than about speed. You can only go so fast without losing control as you're nearly constantly turning. Think about the license tests A-4 and A-5. This is a succession of smaller circles. Everything you know about apex still applies though. Watch the demo and remember the speed the car is going as it goes around each circle. You can match it or you can try to go a little faster if you're feeling lucky. Most important thing about this test is patience. The second you lose your patience, it is over.
Attached is a run I did just now of IA-8. It was done in automatic. I was only able to get a silver in it. Good luck.

One you complete IA-8 gold once it will be alot easier the second time. But im still having a bit of trouble with IA-1.
