First I would like to say hello to everyone. I discovered GT3 about a week ago and i'm hooked. I've been playing driving simulations on the pc for a long time but nothing compares to this game.

The advice I need is on tuning my lotus espirit sport 350. My friend and I have gotten it to the point where it's a dream to drive. We've bought everything for it and are running it on turbo 3 and medium slicks. The handling is great except for when the road gets bumpy. When we adjust the springs and dampers we loose the grip on the road and the handling becomes crap. Anyone have any tips?

Welcome to GTPlanet! It's great to have you. :D Now, about your question, what exactly do you mean "when the roads get bumpy"? Are you referring to the red and white rumble strips on the sides of the track (most commonly found in corners)?

Well some tracks (Deep Forest, Trial Mountain, Seattle) are bumpier than others (SS R5/R11, Grand Valley), so I'm not sure Mjubbi is talking about the rumble strips.

Sometimes you can lose the handling if the ride height is too low and the car is bottoming out - use the chase view or watch the replays and look for sparks. If you're getting them, raise the ride height and you should find the car calms down a lot without you having to play with the damper settings. You will lose a small amount of downforce, but that shouldn't cause you too much bother.

I can't really advise on suspension settings as I haven't really found a need to play with them yet, and I'm 51.4% through the game.

Yeah I tuned the Lotus to over 1000bhp but I wish I hadn't it turns corners like a bus.

Although saying that it does handle better than the Escudo which is only good for dragster racing.

I bought the turbo 4 just to see how it would do on the test course. On all the other tracks it's impossible to corner. Another weight reduction wouldn't be wrong at all. I'm completing the gt world cup on amatuer with turbo 3 and the only car there that keeps up is the team viper.

And to clear things up i meant the road texture not the rumble strips. I've learned it's best to steer clear of them completely with my setup. I loose a little speed in cornering because of that but the car makes up for it in acceleration.

Well you'll find that that's a style which will suit you in the later races with tyre wear anyway!
