In the convertible cars I’ve seen a few helmets. Can you make your own design or select from a few?

I race karts and have my own personal design and i got it to work on F1 2002

I think it selects the gear based on what era the car is from.. the driver is dressed to match.

I wouldn't mind seeing a Create-A-Driver mode someday.. maybe GT5.. hehe. That'd be great.. send my folks a pic of me zipping a Shelby around the 'Ring or something, watch 'em freak.

You know.. it just occurred to me.. I could really freak the hell out of people. I happen to have, buried on my hard drive, a rather nice CGI model of a DeLorean. With the "Back to the Future" trimmings...

Now, if I were to, oh.... composite those trimmings onto the GT4 DeLorean.... And convince the n00bs that if you get 88,888 A-Spec points, it'll unlock that version.....

A bud of mine did one with him in the pits walking up to a car getting in and putting on his helmet followed by some very hot laps and some donuts …very funny and some what real

Anyone in the Phoenix Arizona…I’ll be at Phoenix International Raceway working the grid for NASA this Weekend Jan. 8th and 9th. Stop by and say “HI” Cool cars and good times. The last time I worked this kid with a Mc Laren F1 showed up for some laps…everyone got a good close look, very cool.

I've only seen a couple of designs in all the screen shots, and I was wondering about that too.

👍 Nice helmet! It looks a little like Elliot Forbes-Robinson's.
How do you do custom helmets in F1 2002? Is that an EA game. I both have EA F1 2001 & F1 Career Challenge and don't remember seeing anything.

Nope.

You have t download a program called MasStudio2002 to get into all the files. You open up the exe and you will find all the drawings, you can find the driver you want to replace with your helmet and make it in Photoshop or paint of you want, it’s easy.

I don’t know where I found it; it was long ago so I hope you can find it.
