Help A Fellow GT5 Player?

Hi everyone. On Gran Turismo 5's first birthday my ps3 died from the yellow light of death, and after multiple attempts to revive it with the hair dryer trick, it seems like it is gone for good. I bought a used ps3 slim yesterday, and I now have to restart Gran Turismo 5. My progress up to level 37, along with my garage, gt psp garage, and stealth cars are all gone.

If anyone is in the holiday spirit and could donate a car to me, I would be very thankful.:bowdown: I want to get on my feet again in the game, and this could help out big time. I feel like a moron for never backing up my save on a usb.:banghead:

Just to prove I'm not trying to scam people out of their well earned cars, here's my old and new ps3 with my name.

There is since about 1 hour a "beggers" thread. go there, maybe somebody will send something.

My advice, nowadays with seasonal payouts you don't have to ask for anything.
Play the game....
 
which events give out the most (for the amount of time you are playing it)? I only wanted something that could let me race in the higher paying events, so I don't have to spend time doing beginner events for 20k
 
Enzo on La sarthe ferrari challenge with 200% login bonus gives you 350k in 3.5 minutes.

And the TT/Drift's give you 8 million to start with.
In the Seasonal expert challenge, you can win 2 level tickets...

Feel sorry for you, but you didn't BACKUP as well?
That's amazing, the first thing I did on the first day I played GT5 was to buy a USB stick and do a backup.

Start again and from scratch, soon you will have all the cars in your garage.

1.Get a Honda Civic
2. Do Civic Seasona until you get enough cr and xp to get a 458 or Enzo
3. Do La Sarthe Seasonal
4. Easy Credits :):):)
 
If you want to send me a FR at AFTAC_99104 I can set several cars to shared mode for you to borrow if that will help. Will be a couple of hours before I get to my PS3 to do it though. Also, if you create a B-Spec driver and set him to be shared with friends I will run him in some remote races to help boost your B-Spec rating.

Just let me know what cars you need.

For cash it's the Ferrari in LaSarthe, for experiece is Light Weight K-Cup, you can do it easily with a Suzuki Cervo for less than 15k and it pays more than 100k in tarmac + sign-in bonus 👍

Yellowhat Tomica GTR - Use it for the FR races and a few others
Tuned Audi R8 - Use for the MR races and other ones like that
Tuned Honda Civic RM - Use for FF and low PP races

Thanks guys but I just tried out the honda races. I forgot how easy it was to get some cash! I will probably buy a ferrari pretty soon, but thank you guys very much for the offers! :)
 
Yeah i have a Zonda up for borrowing, if you want to borrow it, send me a FR and you can borrow it. :)

I only just realised it has not been used. You can still borrow it if you want though.
