HELP! "An error has occurred in the lobby server [282]

Hey guys

I have done a search but no one elses seems to have this problem CURRENTLY.

I can sign in, do seasonals but can't access my lobby or any others.

I've spoken to other guys here in South Africa and I'm the only one getting this error.

Its been like this for 4 days now, and i did manage to connect briefly last night but its down again.
Can anyone please help shed some light on this?

I have done the basics such as:
1) clear cache
2) reboot
3) port forwarding
4) reset router
5) recheck updates etc...

The only way I know of on how to fix this is to re-do the PSN update. This error is caused by a PSN update that didn't install properly. You need to re-install it! I've had this issue once before and this was the method I used to fix it 👍.

Erm, what do you mean by 'PSN update'? An update for GT5 or a PS3 firmware update? (I don't have this problem myself but I'm curious)
 
Hey guys. Updated the firmware via usb... same version as installed and still the same problem persists! :( any other suggestions?
 
I'd suggest you start using the 'Edit' button. As opposed to triple-posting. ;)👍
 
It's happened to me a few times. I had to wait it out. So if you've tried everything, I'd suggest to wait it out. I don't think that it is a problem with your ps3 or gt5 game disc.
 
update: So i went to my friends place and voila. it worked there. CAme home,and it worked here too...now one day later its back.

I'm going to try to swap routers and see if that sorts out the issue
 
new router... different model, still the same problem :(

Looks like the issue is throttling with my ISP
