Can someone please give some hints on passing this test. I have crused through all the other test but this one is just a pain the ...... The best I have finished is 6th and I'm not even close to the leaders, any advice? FYI this is the one lap test in the Acura, last to first (just a reminder) Thanks for any help.

Oops, it was named as such on youtube.:)

GT5 Prologue how to beat Race 6, Class B

Anyway thanks for the information.

The driver in the video that was posted by the Interceptor utilized good driving skills in order to pass the test. The driver in the following video found a somewhat easier method to accomplish the same thing:

I saw that one too, but I don't support that kind of driving. Especially one who's just starting to find his way into the game shouldn't do it like that. In my book, a licence test has little point left if you play dirty.

No worries. I made the same mistake in another forum, that's why I remember perfectly that B-6 is held at HSR :yuck:

Back on topic, B-6 is rather easy, on Professional is not that easy, but not so difficult either, you just have to memorize where and when to overtake the prebaked AI.

Thanks for the help. I am losing time in that S curve section. My driving line is right on with Interceptors but I'm getting caught in traffic in this area, just need to keep practicing I guess.

I might add that this was not me driving, but a way to win.

About the S-section: if you have closed up to the Citroen and the Volkswagen at this point, you're on the winner streak. You just need to stay tight and tidy in the corners.

There are two ways to encounter the above cars. They will always go on the grass in the right hander, therefore lose grip and cross the track once more when the left hander comes up. You should either wait a tiny moment behind the Citroen to have it pass in front of you or, if you have a good run, pass between the two cars. Being hit by one of then isn't ideal, even if you can still win as the video shows. If you can archieve to have them miss you and slip through between the cars, you've done everything right up to this point, and you're certainly quick enough to pass this test. 👍

Also, the speed you carry into the tunnel plays a major role in passing this test. Stay on the inside of the left hander and find the right moment to accelerate, so you end up at the right side of the track when you enter the tunnel.

The most important thing to do is to disable the driving aids (TCS especially, and ASM).

Traction Control robs you of power to prevent wheelspin, but is very conservative, so it's near impossible to keep up your speed through and out of the corners.

Well after another 15 or so tries I finally squeeked out a bronze. Then I went on to smoke the first 5 test in the A class. Thanks again for all the help. Vaxen turning off the TCS and ASM deffinately helped.

Most of the A licenses are are pretty easy.
Juyst wait for S 7+8+10 Those are pretty hard, especially S10 was driving me nuts

The S10 one was by far the hardest of them all, I spent 2 hours trying to beat it, I tried using my extremely hard to tame Ford GT, that was a mistake, then I tried using my Blitz Skyline, that didn't work, so i sold a lot of my cars so I could buy the Amuse S2000, man talk about making a huge mistake, i couldnt do it in that car either, so i put down the conrtoller & decided to give it a try the next day. the next day I passed the test using my Blitz Skyline on the first try, I was happy & pissed off at the same time, on one hand I had finnaly passed the dang test, but on the other, i sold over half of my cars for absolutely nothing. Lesson learnd, never ever sell any of your cars just to buy a car that you think you need, just take the extra time to win the money. Once you sell the car, you have to pay 3 times as much just to buy it back.

Yeah i did S10 with the skyline too. a lot of it also has to do with the AI line up. Basicly you want a corvette 60 and a dunlop in the lead to slow the pack down. If the lead car is a Ford GT its more or less imposibel. Before you overtake the field the lead cars will have such a huge lead that its imposibel to cath up.

Also about buying and selling cars, well i kinda had plenty of money, because i drove a lot online ( a win = 45 K ) I had almost 2 million credits and most of the cars i really wanted before i passed S10
