Hey guys,

I came home today to a flooded basement. In short, the AC adapter for my DFGT was a little wet. Didn't think anything of it. I plugged it in and it won't work. Is there anything I can do short of buying another wheel?

Thanks in advance.

If you have multimeter you can check that the power supply is putting out the correct amount of power. If its under warranty, logitech MIGHT fix it.

Unless you still have a warranty then you will have to find a aftermarket adapter. Find a universal power adapter that is identical to your AC adapter. There are many out there that can output different power at a flick of the switch. You will have a hard time replacing the AC adapter with the same one(logitech does not sell spares).

Well, I guess the issue it more serious than it seems. The wheel is making a horrible grinding sound when I plug it in with the new power adapter.

Could be possible that the DFGT could of gotten damaged. Was it plugged in into a outlet? Should also double check the replacement adapter and see that it matches the original(that's including voltage and amperage, the DFGT should also have this information under it).

It was plugged in when there was water on the adapter. The adapter is rated to output 24V and 1A vs. 24V and 0.75A for the original adapter.

I found one adapter here. It's easy as searching "24V 750ma power adapter". If it does not work then I'd see if Logitech would replace the wheel.
