Help! I cant get out of autodrive in A-spec mode!

I am into 5th hour in my Tskuba endurance race in Spec A, wanted to go into pits, but entered in the wrong angle, bounced off the wall, went backon the track! I was prompted on screen on tires and fuel, and i clicked ok, but the car just went on driving round and round the track on low fuel state and bald tires, and did not enter the pits!

I have paused the game, Please HELP ME SAVE this GAME! :(

Just end the game with the PS button and hope you save doesn't go corrupt! 👍

Are these endurance races made for destroying our PS3s? PS3 will either fail due to excessive playing, or get smashed due to excessive disappointment!
 
sigh... seems like in youtube many people faced the same problem ,and its always on the tskuba track! This sucks! I have left my PS3 running for 4 days now, and found no solution to this stupid glitch!

Yeah, it's a sales strategy by PD & Sony to shift more consoles, it's a win-win situation for them. Did you really think PD were that ignorant, stupid & naive for not including a save function during endurance races!

i pressed on the start button,exited the race,switchedoff my ps3, do not wanna risk burning it up and damaging it!

Why would it burn up? If it does it's a fault at Sony.. the device should be able to handle a couple of days switched on after each other
 
Looks like PD will need to massively tone down Endurance mode. I read nothing but bad things about it. Any races that last more than two hours long is NOT GOOD.

These machines are designed to be able to handle long term use at a time, but are NOT design to be used for long term use at a time.

No, this is not correct, GT games have always been about being accessible to everyone but you do have to be good to finish them... I hope PD carry on ignoring those who want it toned down but concede to those asking for more to do. If you don't want to do the 4/9/24h races just don't do them, don't ask for them to be removed because you don't like them because a lot of people do and they're one big thing that separates GT5 from Forza 3. Other concessions could be made though, such as mid-race saves.

And the reason you read nothing but bad things is because only those with something bad to say bother saying anything, well, that and the fact that those who like endurance races are too busy doing them to talk.


Also, OP, could you not have waited to see if an AI car would smash into you? That usually sorts it out.

Ahem... Forza 3 is FAR MORE accessible than GT5. Their endurance races are actually tolerable. I've never read a complaint about them. The devs at Turn 10 actually know what to do to keep their players interested!

I say that and I don't even want to like Turn 10.

Forza 3 endurances are just GT5 endurances on the Xbox. Nothing more special or worse.

Both can get annoying after a while.
