Help me choose complete simulator

Hi guys

My abstinences for car simulation is huge at the moment, and therefore I am looking into spending a bit of money.

I want a good experience while playing, and I need everything but a screen. I used to own a G25 and a home-build rig, but I sold this, and want to take the level up a notch.

I have thought about buying this setup:

- Fanatec CSR value pack XL
- Obutto oZone
- Buttkicker Gamer 2

This will be about € 900 / $ 1100. It's quite a big amount, and since I'm quite a noob regards cockpits and all, I would love if some of you would give me some helping words and advice.

Is this worth the money? Is there any better alternatives? Does the Buttkicker give that extra realism?

I looks very sweet! Truly. But it must be more expensive than what I have found, if we don't count the Buttkicker in.

What do you think of the setup I have listed?
 
Obutto is updating their cockpit so you may want to wait yet I really enjoy my Obutto.

Buttkicker can be used in all games and movies. This depends on the game and movie (bass) on how much it adds. Gt5 and Forza 4 has some of the best bass effects.
It also has limits. For example you will feel the bass from the game's music. Another one is sometimes when someone passes you you can feel the bass of their engine.
Even with it's limits I'd rather game with the Buttkicker. If you do get an Obutto and Buttkicker it's recommend you mount the Buttkicker vertical just like it would if attached to a chair.

Do you know what will be updated? Does the Obutto have some serious cons, as it is at the moment?

About the Buttkicker - it sounds like it would be a good idea! Where would you mount it on the Obutto?

I was referring to Obutto R3V which I see is a lot more expensive. I owned the Ozone which it a very good cockpit for the money. R3V no doubt it an improved version with more adjustablity. While Ozone could use a little more adjustments like wheel mount tilt and change the shifter mount position forward and back I was still able to find a comfortable position.
What I did was to buy a deep socket ( somewhere close to 1") , bolt,washer and nut and mount it under the rail that mounts the seat.

I find the Fanatec CSR value pack XL a good wheel,still i prefer the T500rs in gt5
Has for Obutto oZone i think its has good has rseat to be honest.
Buttkicker Gamer 2 i have no xp in this one sorry. 👍

I own Gt2 and G27 and I prefer G27 myself. Haven't tried CSR wheel so I can't say. An alternatives to Ozone in that price range for those in Europe would probably be GT Omega.
