Check this out guys. I've been B-spec grinding bob with my FGT. ii usually do the 9hr Tshuba race at night when im asleep. When he first completed the race bob did 642laps with 815hp. yesterday with my FGT at 768 he completed 653 laps, and the day before 652. How in the heck can you get more laps done with less power in the car. anyone? i thought if you had less power you would get a smaller result. Figure this one out,a nd you have my eternal thanks.

Tsukuba is such a small track horsepower probably doesn't make huge difference. In my opinion torque is more important on a small track like that.

well its simple, experience <<<

the more races he does the fatser he becomes which means he becomes a better driver :)

Simples

i thought about driver skills, that would explain some gains, but still the car has lost 47hp since. still its odd to me.

Because he is gaining experience and because as the car is losing horsepower the tires will last longer and so will the fuel so he will have less pit stops, resulting in more laps. I'm just guessing here but it sounds right

Well it depends on every race...since it is weather changing i believe, my bobs are driving with slick tires when it starts to rain...so everyone on the course is spinning out and trying to stay on course...so it is random on every single race about the driving skill.

Perhaps with lower horespower he doesn't use up the rear tires as fast and can squeeze out a few extra laps between pits. After a 9 hour race even one extra lap between pits adds up. That would be my guess anyway.

Bob would have more experience making him a bit faster around the corners and it also depends on the weather and how quickly Bob overtakes the opponents. So the result should vary a bit in all the races.

thanks jalapenopaul, i believe you are on the right track for this one, the more i think about it. reason being, ive noticed as you lose horsepower you gain fuel milage. thus less pit stops, and more laps done. it almost makes sense now. thank you very much.

As has been stated bob is gaining experiance and he will take more overtaking risks as he progresses. an example i let my level 40 bob do the FGT series and i was gobsmacked to see him make manuevres only real men would do he was overtaking on the outside and remember the AI had the same car so bob didnt have the benefit of more power. he finished all the races with 1st place and i never had to coach him either i was really surprised, try this with a lower spec bob and he will flop at least the cote d zure race.
