Help! Name change

Hey

Can you change the name of your player in GT4? so in home it says [Your Name]'s Home? my one was entered incorrectly and it looks stupid

You can not edit your game name.
Do not buy a new game. If you want to, you could delete the current GT4 save on your memory card using the PS2 browser and start again. Or buy a second memory card and start again on that.

My friend made the same mistake, luckily he noticed it before he started racing. A simple delete off the memory card, and he was retentering it. Don't think there is a way to change it other than that.

It may be a mistake, but a small thing like that doesn't stop you from enjoying the game, right?

Here's what you do. Get another memory card and start over. When you do put in your correct name and things are set up how you desire, Trade your cars to the new memory card that you just created. It may look stupid in the wrong name, but is it that important? If you get another memory card and conduct the trades, you'll loose your gold. Kind of a give and take situation. If it was me and I was passed 25%, I would just leave it. No big deal.

If you played the game and acquired 683 cars before you noticed you misspelled your name, you deserve the angst of transferring them all. Especially if you place a huge importance on the name displayed at the top. 👍 👍

No actually it was a specific game save containing All Black cars but it still needed work...
