i got the kai to work online tonight, but it was laggy.. does anyone live around Charlotte, so we can play online w/out lag?

i'm a big noob drifter, and i really suck.. so i'm trying to learn online.. if u can help me, it would be awesome.. :)
 
if your skills aren't good then online isn't going to be a big help need to just practice but only thing kai can do i help you in tandem drifting.
 
You know, lag doesn't only refer to as long distance connection. It might be your internet connection speed, others' internet connection speed or even the Host's connection speed only. You don't have to play with someone near you to get no lag, YES it reduces the vast majority of slow connection. However, it still depends on how well your computer or his/her connection is between each other.
 
i dont guess youll be drifting with anyone anytime soon on kai anyway. lag is to be expected, anything under 100 ping is good, 60-80 is best. either get used to it or you wont be playing with any of the good people. make sure when your on kai that you dont have anything else running(meaning if its not important, you dont need it running. IE aim, yahoo, msn, internet explorer, mozilla, P2P programs, etc) on your computer or that could lag the game down alot.
