well i looked for settings for a car..McLaren F1 GTR n there really isnt nething for a B-spec setup so the guy wont go off at the Sarthe 1 24hr endurance on the dunlop :grumpy: ..he runs constant 3:30's with my set up and hard tires all around but thats on setting 3..which is steady n overtake on..i do drive this race but how the hell am i gonna drive the rest to keep him in 1st cuz he loses too much time to pit in..unless i have to drive for 3hrs to keep him in 1st n build enuff of a gap..by the way i got almost 6800 B-spec points..i really like this car and i dun wanna do it with a Bentley or GT-one..so can someone help me correct this B-spec error or tell me if i should drive for like 3-4hrs 1st..the set up has to work with hards in the front n super hard in the back..thanks

i had to drive several hours during different parts of the race to get b-spec to keep the lead and i was using a much faster toyota minolta.

when he goes off, is it due to understeer or oversteer?

what i'd say is to run considerably more wing in the rear then the front. about 15+ then the front. you might also want to mess with positive toe in the rear if you have decent tire wear.

give me your hole set up if you would...

i think he oversteers because at that 1 spot (if he is set at 4) he goes over the curb too much and goes off..but im going to let my PS2 rest for another couple hours, i just won sarthe 2, 24hours with my 787B. and then i will post my settings for you. tire wear he lasts 6 laps. 8-9 laps with super hard in the back. 5 laps with me driving but thats because i'd push it n gain 45 seconds - 1 min in 5 laps lol :dopey:

Computer cars generally tend to wear out their front tyres, I find. Myself, I wear the rears down. But then, if you make the car oversteery so the computer wears his rear tyres more, he tends to just lose control. I'm not sure quite if there is a simple solution.

A B-spec driver driving a McLaren F1 against a LMP/Group C field is *always* going to struggle, though. And watch out - a B-spec driver often runs one more lap than he really should before pitting for tyres and fuel. Running as many laps as you can without spinning out is not the best way.

i ran it against a "GT-one, Bentley, Panoz, Viper, C5-R. the B-spec driver got the fastest laps but he couldn't build up a proper lead to pit in ever 6 laps while the 2 fastest guys ran 9 laps. oh and by the way here is my settings that u asked for. check them out. reminder my B-spec skill is around 6800.

i changed these a little bit. play with the set up without the asm on. when you get the car dialed in you can then slowly add what asm you need.

what kind of top speed are you getting with this?

play with the downforce until you find a balance under braking. with the lack of downforce on the front the car will be more unstable under braking but it will be more stable at speed.

also play with the front ride height and the front spring rate. when these are higher then the rear it creates understeer. its up to you how much you want.

PSI civiv, I think you made a mistake with the tyres of choice...Supersoft/soft is not a very good idea for a 24 hrs endurance race :)

you know what i did i went back and edited it because i had them backwards and i put the wrong numbers!

what i ment was, fronts as r1 and rears as r2. duh me. :guilty: i fixed it.

with me driving i hit 380km/h. B-Spec goes 356km/h. i fixed the gears abit n i got B-Spec to hit 360km/h:)
