I don't know how to tune 4WD cars. For the rest I'm good. I know this car is capable of much more (I usually race at 425PP with Sport Hard). To give an Idea, on GP/F, any car at 425PP laps between 2:23's and 2:25's but this Lancia is a real headache! Can't go below 2:26.9 at the moment no matter what I try. The car suffers from under steer being 60:40 on weight distribution, but I managed to have more turn in by stiffening the rear to induce over steer. On top of that, the car lacks top end since the torque and HP curve drops too soon. Some help at how to tune cars that are 4WD in general?

This car featured in an early seasonal time trial, so there should be a few tunes around. Try to dig out the thread in the seasonal forum or in the GT6 Tune Directory in the stickies at the top of this forum.

I remember it being very difficult to turn and punishing on the front tyres. I only did a quick tune for the event and went with typical extreme settings you might use on FF.

Something along the lines of:
Ride height max front/min rear
Springs min front/max rear
ARB low front/high rear
Negative rear toe
Diff Front 5/5/5, Rear 5/something/5
Torque distribution 30/70 (or close if those numbers aren't possible)

You could also try removing and adding some weight to change the weight distribution closer to 55/45

This isn't how I tune other 4wd, I just remember the Lancia being particularly stubborn

Before asking, I searched for a tune up and found a couple on this forum but they are a bit slower when I tried them out. The car is giving me a headache since GT5.

i own one and i can assure you that it doesn't handle like in GT6
it's so bad that i'm really annoyed, i can't take any pleasure to drive it in GT6 as like i do in real
it's so good to drive it in real

I'll build something tonight and see what kind of times I can get. I tune on the gp/f track so I know it well. My best 450pp time is a 2:10 fla but that's on sport softs. I'll post here what I find.

best I could get was a 2:26.4 I'll post the tune later if you want (tv is being used at the moment). This car is just too heavy for this class. the extra diffs just add too much. the 60/40 weight split doesn't help either. I lightened mine completely and then added some rear ballast along with a mostly RWD power setup (10/90 i think). That was the fastest combo out of more power/less weight/mixture of both.

I'm down to 2:25.3 but that's still 2 seconds slower than most cars (S13, EG, 190E, Mito). Can you share the tune?

If I break into the 2:24's I'll be more than happy.
