help with capturing your drifting

i have a digital camera and have been recording my drifting recently but havent been able to figure out how to put them on the computer
can anyone tell me a better way or how to tranfer from the camera

How do you normally transfer files from your camera to your computer?
there should either be a socket that you can plug into your camera, or some memory card and adapter
