i did a search and didnt find nething that helped so please no one go crazy if its around and i missed it...

i saw a 3000gt built by Whiteacr and it looked really nice so i thaught id make one of my own. i dont think i need to list all parts put on but it has 578hp. The problem is its a little but slidey(is that even a word?) for my driving style. i have an AR2 V2 and tried to code in a bit more downforce to help but it didnt seem to make that big a difference if any, also my d/f didnt appear in the setting screen, its still blank. Any one no whats going on ??? did it work and it jus doesnt show in the setting screen?

power+grip=speed
power+force= plastard to the ground still not able to go any where
this tire code will give you 998 grip...
Front grip 1C0412B4 - 1456E403
Rear grip 1C0412B8 - 1456E403
if your gto is still having problems, come back and i will try to figure it out from there

thanx alot for the help GT-40/787b ill try it out and let u no how it goes.
i have read in some other threads that messing with the grip levels can make your car do weird stuff thats why i have only really experimented with downforce and left it alone.
thanx again and ill let u no if it has worked and solved my problem...

When U add DF to a solid bodied car, it will have affect, but will not show up in the settings screen. How much DF did U add? Perhaps U should try more.

Front DF 1C04BF74 - 1456E78A .....= 1.25
Rear DF 1C04BF78 - 1456E733 .....= 1.50

I'm not sure why anyone would adjust the grip on a car with only 578hp, especially to those extremes. I can see if U are building a 10,000+ hp drag car, but that's my opinion. At any rate, the codes that Gt gave are the wrong codes for the pal version.

There is no such thing as a grip code. Those are spring rate modifiers, and really shouldn't be used by anyone. Heydu's DF settings will help. I would also suggest swapping out the chassis with this:
1C041378 - 07BC034E
1C04137C - A59FA5F2

Should lighten up the car considerably, which will help the handling and performance.

Thanks every one for their help and the corrections to the codes, i havent had a chance to test them yet but ill post as soon as i do to let u no if it worked.
heydu i agree that i didnt need much of a d/f increase because of the power so i think i added an extra .40 or .50 more to the original downforce that it said in the MKS program. u said that it doesnt show up in the setting screen so no i didnt do anything wrong. i will probably add a bit more HP but i just wanted to get this d/f issue out of the way first.
Again thanks pplz for their help and part codes, much appreciated.
