help with drift viper

Hey GT40, you still looking for settings for the Viper?

I'll try it out over this weekend and let you know... K....

what? is it a crime that I want a drift viper..... I honestly am a viper fan and I have built a couple of other drift cars but this one is giving me problems

hey if sam hubinette can do it than u can too, **** wut everybody else says
 
first off i wouldnt use a viper but you can if you want to.


you need to over power your car because it cant do it well any other way so power up your car with a lot of hp brake and then give a lot of gas with a lot of r's

No...

The Viper drifts a treat, with N2 (or N3) tires, stock power, a bit of balast in the back, racing suspension, and full LSD...

When I get some time (next week) I'll post some more of my settings... Viper, Evo II, R34 GTR, etc...

I applaude your choice in the Viper, a really nice car to drift and loads of fun.

If you want to look at some of my pics, look at the DPC week 21 in post #12. Those are mine.

Well like I slapped my Viper with a wing, LSD, and N3 in the front and N2s in the back. Not bad really, give it a try but I guess you would know, alot of throttle control is needed for this Swede Monster =P

I think GT40 has abandoned his own thread?

Anyway, my Viper settings are not perfect yet, I'm still having to throw her around to get her sideways, working on getting a little more over steer....

Sam was an ice driver???? no wonder why he is used to going sideways in such a ridicously high powered car. In addition to the drift viper, Ive also built one ass kickin 8sec. '99 viper gts drag car. I appreciate all the help and all the people backing me up on this. I have a feeling this is going to be one wicked viper when its done.
 
CHyeah he was an Ice Driver. Its no difference if it was a competition Viper or Stock, he can beat anyone's but, but Rhys Millen owned the points though. I admire Ken Gushi much and Daijiro.

I had a white Mustang GT with a black 3D wing, and blue rims, in my last video "Positive Lock", in honor of Ken Gushi... There will be a yellow Pontiac GTO with a 3D wing in the next IDM vid, as well, in honor of Rhys Millen... I have been thinking of puting together a Formula D/D1GP vid for a while, but I don't know if I'll ever have time to do it...

OK, so lemme get this straight, do you still want the viper settings? cos I have them at home...
 
well jedi09 heres the thing, i took a few cars I selected out for a drive to find out which one would be the better base for a drift machine. The viper was the one that seemed like it would be a better drift car due to its immense power and torque. Also to note it looked the coolest to me.

Well, I have alot of Drift pics of my Viper, kinda dark though because this was when I started GT4 Drifting...who wants to see?

sometimes people like to challenge themselves by drifting a car thats hard to drift. Not everyone wants to use the easiest ones. Other people in this thread already said basically the same thing you just did, so that wasn't really necessary.

oh and, where can I get the viper?
 
yeah the gts is my fav too :) it shows up in the used car lot sometimes. i dont remember the exact days.

The new ones faster but i like the way the old one looks.

The new Viper can be bought from the dealership (new cars)... The older Viper either needs to be won, or bought from the used car lot (which shows up very rarely)...
