Help with KART settings.. Disregard last thread.

Need help with all the kart races... From beginning to end.

I'm an extremely good and fair racer, aside from carts.. No matter how much I try to finesse them or tinker with the settings, I either spin or kiss a wall.

Any tunes or suggestions would be appreciated.

Ps - I'm a noob to this site, so if I'm being improper or stupid, I'd appreciate one of you in the loop explaining the procedures to me.

The thread linked by HumptyDumpty above contains everything you should need for the Kart races. Everything, up to the Shifters, is pretty much the same way of handling, albeit with different power. My usual technique for these (except shifter) is to brake late for the corner, release the brake and let the kart coast through the corner and then accelerate once it is straight. If you struggle with spins, then try adding some ballast to the back of the kart to put more weight over the drive wheels (5kg is often enough).

How do you control them: Do you use a DS3 controller, a wheel? If you use a DS3, do you use the X and O buttons? If so, then maybe consider changing the controller settings so you have L2 for brake and R2 for accelerate as that gives you more control over both (I can't get the hang of using those but you may have better luck).
 
no tunes are needed for karts. just get in and drive. you can win all events without touching the karts settings. i see alot of people moaning about karts. its all about being light handed with them and steering. i love the karts and done all events first time
