Help!

Hey guys I got my DFGT like 1 1/2 month and still havent use it cause I just dont have time and I dont have a steering wheel stand.....can you guys recommend a steering wheel stand?

Go to Ikea and get an end table or some small table. If it moves around get some weights. Why Ikea? Because they're cheap. You could also go to Home Depot and make one yourself. I'm sure there are plenty of DIY specs around this place.

I'm in the same boat.

I bought a DFGT on GT5 release day.

At first, I started out with a TV tray from Wal-Mart.
BIG mistake.
It was so light and unstable that it lasted about a day.

Then I tried to use one of my end tables.
Even though it's hefty and substantial, even that doesn't work.
After a few weeks or so, I weakened the legs.
(Beyond that, it's not the right height so it's not very comfortable to use for an extended period of time.)

I've tightened the legs back up, and I'll use the set-up on occasion, but I've actually regressed to using a DS3 to drive.

The best choices are either building something custom, or making the serious investment into a dedicated wheel stand.
(Me thinks "building something custom" will be the route I go.)

I bought a cheap computer desk for like $50 (or somewhere thereabouts) at Walmart a handful of months ago when I got the game and the DFGT. It takes up a good bit of room in my den, but it's sturdy and works great. I actually have the wheel mounted to the sliding keyboard tray, which sounds like it would be too wobbly, but it has been doing just fine. I have a cinder block keeping the pedals from slowly getting scooted around the floor.
