My ps3 is yellow-lininig, it wont turn on, and GT5 is stuck in the damn thing D:

You can also try to hold down the disc ejector button for ten seconds until it flashes blue so the disc will be forced out of the console. This doesn't always work, but it's worth a try.

I had to take the PS3 apart and took the disc out that way. Happened to me a couple months ago. I hope you backed GT5 up. And also, I had to get a new ps3.

Ah YLOD {Yellow Light of Death} that happened to me last december
bought a ps3 slim after that.But the best idea to do is to check on
youtube for walkthoughs mine was fixed 3 times but it kept breaking.

But it's best to buy another or just hope you can get it fixed

P.S the cause of it is overheating so if you played on it alot that'll happen.

if it's an overheating issue, make sure that it's sitting on something that doesn't get too hot, like a plastic table, and make sure there is plenty of space between the system and any walls or cabinets. if you want to keep it even cooler, put a desk fan on it. I got a high speed vornado that I put on it during the summer to keep it running cool. think of it as your car, no fan on the radiator means blown head-gasket. I got the slim version and It runs GT5 for an average of 6 hours a day, when I'm not working.

I have a fan for my fatty, plus a laptop cooling fan that my PS3 sits on to cool the bottom. Great investment, especially when I'd remote race for days at a time with no rest.

Bought mine the day Prologue was released, and she's still running strong.

Although i got a ps3 slim i have it on a nice cool tv top just in case it won't
happen again.My last YLOD happened cause one of my friends put it on the floor.

sucks about the ps3 though. Look at the bright side, now you can start gt5 with a better strategy if you did like me...maxed out cars in the beginning for a definite win! I regret it when I don't have money for cars I want in the UCD!

Haha the fluid for blinkers thou hath brought upon me shall fair well indeed whence it receives the blessing of the greatfull wizard spoken of as the "mechanic"! Nah but seriously though it will be actually good to start the game over with a better strategy however i am mow considering saving money and building up a proper pc...... I've also always wanted a pc sim because everyone raves about how much better they are than gt but only time will tell what i'm going to do. Any recomendations?
