I have a problem :( .I just bought GT3 and I have played it for a while now,since I notice I´m pretty good at the rally-races I´v done them all.
So now I have all the rally cars you can get(I think)even the Escudo.
My question is should I sell all the rally cars and buy a race-car instead because the rally cars are pretty crapy on tarmac.
 
1. Rally cars are decent on tarmac, but their suspension is made for rallying...if ur gonna use it for tarmac, harden the suspension a lil
2. don't sell the rally cars cuz you can't get them back, with a few exceptions
3. winning race cars is better than buying them

Yeah,but I mean I have already done the rally races so whats the point of having a rally car :confused:
 
well youll never get them back if you ever wanted them again.........they will be gone FOREVER

unless you restart the game (and some you can buy like the escudo)
 
I agree, keep them. There is a chance you'll regret selling them. Anyway earning money by racing isn't that hard in GT3.

Hmmmmmmmm.......:odd: maybe you´re right but I have 2 memory-cards so I think I´m gonna trade over them later:p

When you do the street races, you will need something that can unquestionably compete without having to switch cars constantly. Get a car that you can modify significantly. This will enable you to make tuning, engine, tire, and turbo changes as needed to match each track so you can race at your comfort level with your unique driving style. Sure you will not be able to get the rally cars back, but they are worth alot of money that could be used for a good street car. Besides, if you want another rally car, use the money you win in street races to buy something and turn it into a rally car. How often are you really going to use any of those cars. The reason I say this is because the ultimate challenge in the game is to compete at F1 level at which a rally car will do you no good.
 
I sold some of the rallys to get started and I think I can remember missing one or two of them, once, a long time ago, but maybe not. Sell ones you can buy back if you're worried about it. Unless you're really into rallying it doesn't matter. Sell sell sell.
 
Any of your rally cars can be used to almost complete the beginner mode. Doing that will get you more cars and more money. Then buy a race car.
 
Don't buy a race car. Never buy a car you can win. Really, I would keep all the rally cars you can't buy at the store. By the time you're halfway through Beginner, money won't be an issue any more. So don't throw away cars you may want later, just for a few weeks forth of extra cash.
 
Don't buy cars you don't absolutely have to. Get all golds in B liscense and you get a nice Miata! Use that for all of beginner and some amatuer and even the roadster endurance. You'll be all set.
 
This thread really doesn't make much sense. Unless you started off by getting all gold in the Rally License (and not getting gold in anything else), you have to have a few decent cars already, so it should be pretty easy for you to go win a race car.

If you really need money, you can sell these without worrying about it, because they're cars you can buy from the dealer later:

Focus Rally Car
206 Rally Car
Corolla Rally Car
Impreza Rally Car
Lancer Evo VI Rally Car (you'll get another one from Amateur Evo Meeting)
Lancer Evo VII Rally Prototype (you'll get another one from Pro 4WD)
Xsara Rally Car
 
If you're in a dire need of money, I agree, sell the cars that you can buy from the car dealer - except for the Escudo, since it is a pretty penny to buy.

And if you don't like the way the escudo handles, which more than likely you won't or don't, look up Famines FAQ "Can't Drive the Escudo?" It helped with mine so I can't see how it could hurt to look and at least try the settings. But if you don't want to try the Escudo than, hell, sell it.
 
You shouldn't really sell them, you now have a great set of cars to take you practically all the Beginner races, and by then you should have a Miata, which you could slap the superhard tires on, then run it in the Miata endurance.

i can do what gt3 ownage said with a trueno on tahiti maze lol...the one with the most laps... What is a big achievement in gt3 is taking 300 hp cars and winning prof races with them... :D... and then winning in weekly tourneys
