Sadly for the Europeans among us, Gran Turismo 4 isn't outa till sometime next year right? right
And since that sucks soooo sooo badly, that was the game i wanted to buy this year, now i can't get it.
Need some help in deciding a PC game i can get in its place, since there are soo many games out there, i can't decide, so i ask of ur help
Preferably World Wars, fast paced gun fighting, FPS style games i am lookin for
can anyone plz recommend anything good plz

You are in luck.Half Life 2 is just around the corner.4 more days and it's finally out.THE fps game for the PC.
 
Race Driver 2 is fair fun. The online mode is fantastic. GTR is comming ouut soon too.:)
 
If HL2 isnt your cup of tea and you want a WWII fps, Medal of Honor Pacific Assualt is out soon or even now. Download the demo if you want to get a taste.

hmmm i played Pacific Assualt on the PS2, n i was kinda dissapointed, it wasn't liked allied assult. thanks all the same thought =D

Worst advice ever. The new MOH PA is utter garbage, call of duty is the best, but even that will suck compared to HL2.

Pacific assualt isnt on PS2, thats Medal of Honor: Rising Sun, Its different. Medal of Honor: Pacific is much better. Your best bet and would be Half Life 2 though.
 
hmmm ok ok, so MOH: pacific assult according to some is ok
well, i think i will stick to HL2 for now, but i will look at MOHPA
HL2 movies look really cool tho, on gamespot huh?

If you like HL2 type of game, Then that is the best bet for sure. HL2 will be much better than MOHPA in my opinion, but if you prefer a WWII based game then MOHPA is the best choice.
 
Also, Stalker: The shadow of Chernobyl could be something you'd like. It's a little more PRG'ish that HL2, but I think that you should consider getting that.

Oh, could you write correct english please? You ARE from the UK, for that matter.
 
Stalker wont be out untill next year though (Im looking forward to it).

Gran Turismo 4 is coming out on December 14, 2004.

I agree with RD2. But sadly, GTR is coming out February 2005, at least in Europe. Germany will get a german language version in time. If I remember right, the publisher wanted to release the English version at the same time everywhere.

First GT4, and now GTR!?!

Damn, doesn't anyoe=ne think the whole regions thing is a massive money makin scheme
how damn obvious and pointless is it, when we could all have the same format.
And its NOT impossible either, everywhere can have diff languages, just, same regions.
Sounds basic, but im no computer genious or notin, i jus think its like, pointless having so many diff regions, if there was one global region, we could all have had GT4 by now in all the diff languages.
Its got 'money makin scheme' written all over it
Still Half life 2, also, for the PS2, what ppl think of DBZ budokai 3, that looks pretty kool, this version shud break the ice. The prev 2 cud ave been better.

as for the matter of Correct English, fine then i shall type in the correct English manner.
However, i must say, one thing i hate, is been told to speak correct English, i don't tend to speak totally correct official English online because many people who use the internet prefer to speak in 'u' instead of 'you' and 'r' instead of 'are', yeh obvious but, (i would like to leave it here, but i love to lecture on how people are wrong, lol), don't go all serious on this message ok....? because, im not been serious, i am merely pointing out, in person of course i would speak total correct english, however, i believe so many people speak in short in that method, so i follow the same.

I didn't mean to offend you. :) It's just that the mods have been working hard to clean these forums, so you could write clear and proper english, and check your post for typos before posting it. If everyone would do this, GTplanet would be a better place.

hmmm good point, i guess my PS2 is just needing a clean out, its performance recently has been questionable to say the least lol, its like, i put a disk in, and the system doesn't read the disk right, in most cases however, its fine.
Half Life 2 i meant, lol, i must have written that message not long after i woke up, kind of like been a little bit drunk.alright sorry

Still Half life2, you don't need the new PS2. It has nothing new, except the size (correct me if I'm wrong). Get your PS2 repaired if it bugs you.
 
Your right, half life 2 seems like a good game to me, i think i will get that then
thanks then =], the videos on gamespot work, but my sound doesn't (gonna have to start up another thread about PC Bugs lol)
yeh, i guess PS2 needs some De-bugging, but, one i got has been through a fire, i wud like to get that one replaced, even though i works ok.
