787B Use the Auto settting for your gears and set it to about 35. Go to Qualifying and see if you are fast enuff. If not go to 37, etc. until you are happy with your speed
I used the Viper GTS. I modded it up to max horses, then set the racing tranny to wide, not sure how wide, but enough to barely get redline for maximum speed. It took a speed of about 265 or 270 to win the race.....
Of course the Escudo will easily win it for you, too!!
Am I the only one who had a competitive "Like the Wind" race?
I used an unmodded Toyota GT-One Road car... dâ¢mn, that GT-One Race car sure gave me a run for my money... I was only able to pull off a win through lots of drafting and Super-slicks.
Oh, sorry about that. Try the Nissan R390-GT1 road car, The Toyota GT-ONE, Corvette C5-R or any other car modded up to about 750 hp, with racing slick tires
Again, put in the Full-Race transmission. Don't worry about the individual gear ratios. Keep moving the ratios out toward the "wide" setting and go to "qualify". Run the car, more to test your top end. When you can maintain a speed over 210 mph. You will win easily. You should gain about 3-5 seconds per lap after pulling out in front and need to pit in only once.
