In all fairness the queen 'works' pretty hard and she has been doing it relentlessly without having a choice for 60 years. I don't ever see a future monarch ever again having that kind of stamina and dedication. The world seems to enjoy her and she is part of the UK heritage which draws tourism etc so its fine by me.

I'm particularly looking forward to the river thames flotilla .....xsnipx....

Should be a pretty sight. AFAIK there is an 'All-Canadian' team that will be rowing merrily, merrily, merrily, too.. . .

On the same topic; watched teen jockey Joseph O'Brien bring Camelot home in a really smashing display of horsemanship at Epson. Her Majesty seemed to quite enjoy his win, too. O'Brien is proving to be a jockey that can really excite a crowd.

As for Camelot - damn! Shades of Nijinsky.
