In general, yes. For cars like the Supra and the FC, you don't need to change the settings. Just grab sim tires for those cars :)

WOw Nice drifts there Thio. and wow your approach towards drifting is soo simple. just buy little things and sim tires and that it ehy? WOW really nice there :D

pretty fine lookin drifts!!!!!!

i am trying to perfect my drift tecnique at the moment, using a nissan s13 200sx type x, set up with pretty soft setting front and slightly harder rear, sports tyres, tuned to about 460hp i think? gettin good results, pretty well balanced drifts round nearly every corner of apricot hill, starting with a drift on the first corner using hard rear bias braking to get the arse end out, and scrubbing off speed enough to enter the next corner without regaining traction, one long drift. next couple of corners are just a quick stab of the brakes and hard turn in and back on the power, when i get to the corner before the downhill to the hairpin i line it up and drift round the whole thing, tell ya what, makes friggin ace replay material, bit tricky cos most of the corners are on a gradient either entering or exiting the corner. i think if i can perfect the drifting on this circuit the rest of em should be easy, dont do the sim tyres thing, think it is pretty strange, anyone can hold a car on sims but at the moment i am happy with my sports tyres, enough traction to get a good fast lap but at the same pretty showy driving, used to love driving the 328i on apricot hill as well  i think ridin on sims is a bit slow, ive checked out the videos on this site and they look pretty good.

i use the ps2 d/s pad with the left stick for acc/brake and right stick for direction, i find this the best way cos i dont want a wheel, had one, loigitech driving force:banghead: hated it and sold it.

anyone got a few tips for other cars that are pretty good at drifting, or is it a case of gettin a universal setting for rwd cars and different for 4wd, tried the r34 drifting, pretty good as well.

Okay. I was working on drifting with my S15 Aero-R and I managed to pull of corners 6 and 7. The thing that I changed from my other drifts is that I used the right analog stick for acceleration and braking. In the replay, you might see the wheel in a 45º position. That's because I wanted to simulate real life :D Same with the throttle/brake position. All I have to do now is post it :D

hey nice work on the drifting, it lookspretty nice, even though i always like to drift on Super soft, i think u done a great slide show, but hey arent drifting is slide show anyways hahahha nice work, do more ok
