Here are a few tips for you guys playing hexic marathon mode.
1 Take your time, it's not a race try and plan every move.
2 You can quit your game at any point and next time you play resume from where you left it, so don't feel you have to complete a game in one session.
3 Make your flowers round a star, this way you can rotate the bits round and have a wider area to pick up bits of the same colour. The new star that is created falls from the top of the screen and the one you built the flower round stops where it is.
4 Other than the star you are using to make flowers round always keep your stars in pairs. If you rotate one star then rotate the star attached to it you can move pieces anywhere on the screen. Once you get the hang of it it's very easy to move a specific piece around the board to match the flower you are making round the single star.
5 Do not make a black pearl as soon as you get six stars wait until you have at least nine then when you make the black pearl you still have two pieces left to pick up pieces and one to make a flower round.
6 When you start getting a few black pearls and are trying for a flower of them make it in the bottom corner of the screen, again make it round a star so you can rotate more pieces in easily.
7 Remember if you get a combo of 3 black pearls or a black pearl flower it ends the game, so if you are going for a big score get the pieces ready so they will move into place in one move. If you have moved all your black pearls to the bottom corner of the screen you will still have plenty of room to keep playing the game till you get a bomb you can't get rid of, then just make the combo with the last move.
