Dude, the middle school is in Castaic... there are several middle schools throughout the Santa Clarita valley. Castaic alone has two elementary schools, with a third in construction.

Seriously, there are a lot more people in Castaic than you might think... at least 20,000 people.

Actually, it might have. It has gained me anyway. That is one. My Dad's camry is horrible. Dark freakin' BLUE! It looks fairly nice, despite the color, but it has hubcaps. If I ever get my hands on that car, I am going to have to fix that...

Castaic.org has it at 15,000 before the turn of the century. And seriously, I'll eat my own face if there are 1,100 people in Castaic, because there's no way in hell that it's that low, or that it has been that low for very long. In 2001 (when your "altas" was made), there were probably 1,800 kids at Castaic Middle School.
