I cannot change any settings on the fly like I could before your last update.

It depends on the race. I can change settings all the time using my DFGT. There are some limitations on certain races, but overall the settings can be the same. Please read some of the other threads listing some of the details of when and when you cannot use on-the-fly setting changes.

Also, this is a really unhelpful thread placed in the wrong place if you're meaning to lash out at Sony.....

It's not a great list, as I don't know if anyone has a 100% positive clear list yet, but some of the functions were removed for some events, and no changes for others. I know I've been doing the rally events and have been moving break biases and the diff balances around mid-race to help me improve my times.

I believe it depends which race you're doing.

Basically they cut out the RA Menu "cheat" where in certain races things were restricted in the Race Setup Menu could still be adjusted with the RA Menu in the race.
Good example is the TG Elise Challenge. ASM is disabled in the Menu but you could turn it on in the RA menu in the race.

FYI: I am A-Spec LVL 24 and trying to win the Gran Turismo All Stars event. I have the same issue in the online lobbies. If there are absolutely no driving aid restrictions I still cannot change any settings on the fly except for Front & Rear Brake Bias and ABS.

I noticed that before the last update was rolled out. It didn't make sense to be able to change those settings when they are banned for the tests.

But it seems that all of my options have been greyed out except Front & Rear Brake Bias and ABS since the last update. Even when there are absolutely no driving restrictions in a race I cannot change any other settings on the fly. I just hope that this is changed in the next update.

Good point. Polyphony Digital runs the game and its updates, and the best way to harass them is to go bother Kaz Yamauchi on his Twitter account

What I've noticed is that in arcade mode when I'm using my personal cars I can't use the knob but I can use the knob if I chose from the list of cars provided in arcade mode. So I guess it has something to do with our cars in GT mode.

They test it already... Old Savedata can't use TCS/ASM, so they start new game, it work just fine! However, if you go ON-LINE RACE where TCS/ASM not allowed. It will gray out for rest of game (unless patch fix this).

Go test it out yourself! back up your save data, then delete it, then see if your TCS work! then try go on-line where TCS/ASM not allowed, then try same race in A-Spec and you will find it grayed out.
