Everyone else is doing it, but I've got more pics then them. And convienently under each pic is a discription with background info.
Enjoy!
My stereo. On the bottom. Got it for $70 from a pawn shop, it's in excellent condition, though it's missing the remote, so I use a universal on it, which also operates the TV, Dish, and VCR(not in pic). Below the Dish reciever is a Radioshack switcher, so I can use PS2 and Dish on S-Video since my TV only has one S-Vid port.
Ontop of the Dish reciever is a clock I made, and a rotor from a 13B, my dad's RX-7 infact. The clock fit right inside it. The little Mazda thingy is a spark plug box. The little dalmation between the clock and the rotor, I got it when me, my mom, and my bro were hit at about 45mph by a Ram delivery van totalling the MPV. The blue thing is a Mazda 6 pen. Ohh, and the wood clock, it's called a CD Vault clock. There was a plain CD that goes on it, but it was too normal, so I use a PS Underground cd just for the hell of it. Note the Rev-It-Up stickers next to the stereo reciever.
My bed and stuff...closer pic coming up.
My Presario under my bed...I set it up again several nights ago. The 2 rotor housings from my dad's RX-7. The desk(or lack there of) is 2 shelfs and a thinner piece of wood, one side is on one of my bed shelfs, the other side(under the monitor) is on a shelf box and another box with crap in it. It's sturdy though. And on the monitor, the volume control nob, I put a 1/18 scale Viper wheel in it's place cause it's cool. And it works.
My model car collection. More cars then anyone else here. Most are Maisto 1/18 scale...Maisto makes great stuff, and thier cars has suspension and are easy to work on(cause I mod em).
The cars, from left to right:
Top shelf:
Panel Cruiser(it was cheap enough to buy...)
Mercedes C-Klass sport
VW Beetle
Mini Cooper
Next shelf:
Woodys(with Porsche front wheels...I use to race my cars and zoom em on the floor, and I broke many wheels)
GTO
Mercedes S-Class(I got a Diablo engine to fit in there, it's cool)
Jaguar XKR(with Jag S-type wheels(thanks to my bro...he has the S-type, and we switched the wheels, and it looks better))
Mustang Mach III(with Diablo wheels...I had to fix it up with Erectorset pieces, but it works and rolls and all)
Porsche Carrera(with '89 Carrera wheels, they fit right on too(Maisto cars use a lot of the same part sizes and stuff))
Corvette ZR-1(with C5 wheels attached with nails and stuff, still rolls. It was one of my first models and I ramped it and abused it)
Corvette C5(with Porsche Boxter wheels)
Next shelf:
Chevy Nomad(with different wheels, kinda like a drag racer whatever)
Dodge Viper(with ZR-1 wheels)
Lotus Europa(made by Kyosho, it was $15 on sale, and Kyosho makes quality stuff)
Honda S2000
Next shelf:
1993 Mazda Miata(lowered with lower profile tires, a rear body strength bar(behind the front seats, across the car), new exhaust system, and some engine mods)
Porsche 356 Spyder(with old VW Beetle wheels and stuff)
VW Beetle(with Beetle Cabriolet doors and a wierd suspension set up, and a Porsche 356 engine in the back)
Also, there's my VCR, Mazda autoshow bags, ohh, and my Microsizers RX-7 RC car(on the VCR).
The junker models. The ones I've used and abused by ramping, crushing(the Mustang), and other stuff.
The drawer that's open is my Mazda drawer, with brochures, letters, licenseplate frames, and other Mazda stuff. It's full. I'm going to make a new drawer for more stuff. To the lower right side of the pic, those are my Car and Driver/Road and Track mags, along with coin collection books. There's my Mazda T-2000 model box, and under it are the 4 New Beta Mazda videos I got from the M-store, even though I can't currently play them. They were freebies.
Ohh, and the shelfs with the models, yes, they are supported with Lincoln logs and stuff, but it works very well and it's sturdy.
My bed area. This is where I sleep, watch TV, or play PS2. Where to start? I donno. I'll just name the stuff.
My PS2 sits on a wooden vertical stand I made in tech 2 years ago. Works great. Ontop of the games, that Playstation mascot I got for free is standing on a Mazda Testdrive display box that came in an issue of Mazda FUEL mag(it's the blue thing). Infront of it is the 1958 Mazda T-2000 three-wheel truck 1/32 model I got...it's pretty cool, though I'm not good with plastic models so it's missing pieces. A Jaguar car is ontop of the bed of the truck. Behind it is a plaster car I got from my aunt. The black thing under the front wheel of the T-2000 is a computer fan that blows down into the deflector which flows air directly into the PS2 through the port in the back. It really cools it off during long playing times, but I don't use it cause it makes wind noise. Attached to the fan is a RX-8 neckless thingy to hold an ID or something. My dad got it for free, along with 4 others. Gotta love the hanging monkey...he came from my aunt as well and is hanging on the fan wires. The wires go to the Thermometer/Humitidy meter and goes to that lever switch on the other side of the light. The light is good, I use it when I watch TV or play PS2. It's got a box label from something my dad has, it says MazdaState and stuff, and the orange is a Rev-It-Up wrist band(note the other ones, one on the PS2 holder, the other on the Lava lamp). The 2 RX-8 rotor things came with that neckless. There's a Kawasaki Ninja model, and the RX-8 magnet I got from an issue of Mazda FUEL. The blue thingy next to my PS2 is a Mazda Rev-It-Up canabeaner(SP?) with a clock/stopwatch. There's my Boston 3 piece speaker set that I got from my dad. I use it for the TV and radio, and it's great. The sub is on a shelf under the bed. I also use an Altec Lansing 3 piece speaker set on the other side of my bed for surround sound when I need it. Did I mention I wired up everything in my room? It's fun. The Lava lamp is a must. I use it when I sleep. My cat Cosmo often(like this morning at 6:30 AM) jumps up on my bed and will stare at the lava going up and down and he leaves little nose marks on the glass. That super shiny rectangle is a Mazda MPV graphic thingy that changes to a Miata when you look at it from different angles...part of that whole "Body of a minivan, soul of a sports car" thing they had. There's my Universal remote from Zenith, and my 1/24 scale RX-7 RS and Miata. PS, the can of spray is a must
. Ohh, and that lever switch, that also powers my B-series grill hanging above my window which has a light behind the Mazda wing emblem. It's tyte.
The look down from my bed. There's my Mazda 6 Showroom poster from the M-store, and next to it is another little poster from the M-store. The thing above my lightswitch is my Rotary Engine Clock I made, from wood, in tech last year. It uses the same clock parts as the CD Vault clock everyone else made(that I made years ago, it's in the pic aswell next to the rotor). I got a lot of people asking me what the hell it was and how it works and stuff, it was cool. No, it doesn't spin. It's next to impossible to get the curvature of the rotor and rotor housing the right side. It is 1:1 scale, I traces 1 of the rotor housings and the rotor from the real thing. And there's my Rev-It-Up bag. Ohh, and the light switch, the original owners were idiots and cut the hole for the switch too big, so I have to use a bigger cover to go over it. The black part is a GE switch cover I stole from tech(along with other things like a CD drive and stuff. Nothing major.
).
The end of my bed. There's the showroom MazdaSpeed Protege poster courtesy the M-store, with a smaller poster from the M-store on the closet door. The Yellow Opel rug was something my mom made for my dad, my dad use to autocross an Opel GT in the '70s. And there's one of my Altec Lansing speakers.
My cats. Cosmo is on the top level, and Shayna is on the middle level. They are on a cat tree I made in tech last year, me and my mom carpeted it. It saved us hundreds of dollars, but it took a while to make.
Here's Saydie. She's not doing too well today, she started limping on her left front paw...we checked it out but there's no sign of anything wrong, so we will see if she gets better or what not.
Here's Honey. In Sing-sing. She always goes under the kitchen chairs. She's not too happy either cause she went to the vet this morning cause she's got skin allergies and stuff.
And that's about it for now. Any questions/comments.
Thankyou for reading that incredibly long post.
Enjoy!
