From a game development perspective it would be surprising to launch a game with a smaller map and add a significantly bigger one later. I can't think of any examples where that has happened before. If a third island is added I wouldn't count on it being bigger than Oahu.
I agree. But it's also possible that the TCM Big Island version is actually smaller than Oahu, but they still wanted to include, because of it difference in fauna and the snowy mountains. And Big Island landscape is not as complex as Oahu. That might help making a version that is at least the size of ingame Oahu.

Why else would they tease the snowy mountains. The screenshot fits perfectly for Big Island.

Looking forward to the new stance adjustment. I have read that we will be able to adjust ride height, camber and track width.

Some exciting stuff in there. Wonder how long the TC2 summits will keep going, would be nice for Ivory to give an indication at the Showcase.

Hopefully that car from TDUSC wont cost 7.7m credits in TCM!

Next week is another expensive summit in TCM as I need the 919 Street and the AMG One. Not been much in the TCM summits recently requiring me to buy cars in TC2 for transfer across, so I'm slowly building up credits in TC2 for when I need them.

PS I stopped getting "recommended" cars in TC2 (with the 20% discount) on my main screen about 2 months ago (around the time of that photo competition). Does anyone else still get them? Or was there a finite number, and I just bought them all?

You should be good at least until August 2028. That would be the 10th anniversary. After that it really depends on the player count.

If you have a premium edition all cars have a 20% discount permanently.
August 2028 would be fine by me - my main concern is that they use the offline mode as an excuse to cease the online earlier than for TC1, but I admit that is just me being too cynical

EDIT: You know you're playing too much TCM when you start looking for collectibles in real life...

Maybe I'm way too optimistic. Now just based on the first game I know they will try all to keep the US map live as much as possible. Despite all the 'bad Ubisoft doesn't care' I know they did enough to justify keeping the servers alive for 10 years for the first game. From multiple discount to the game being sold for a Dollar to being offered for free and not to mention keeping servers live the last year for a handful of players. So yeah, unless something really bad happens I'm sure they will try their best to reach 10 years. And it will continue if there will be enough players.

Will the stance option allow to increase/lower suspension height and soften/harden suspension more than 20%? I like to offroad-ify some cars.
:D

So can we finally confirm that the building in construction on Maui will become the new Street Riders HQ?

It will allow you to lower suspension adjust camber and I believe altering wheel fitment but not sure on soft or harder.

It's irritating not knowing which UK cars are needed for next week's summit.
I have 48 vehicles UK vehicles unowned in TCM and 41 in TC2 and don't know yet what to buy in TC2 for transfer across to TCM...

went back to the roadmap for this season and next week's summit is called "Pole Position" so you should probably focus on racing cars

So, all of the 6 Summit races use the one "AGP Explorer Edition" car as a loan car this week and you just have to complete 3 of the 6 to unlock the car. Me likey FREE weeks when I can stash credits for later expensive weeks

I was surprised when I saw the leak.
Unfortunately, we still don't have hover or jet sprint, and the cars added are still biased towards ST1/ST2/hypercars, so it doesn't seem like we can expect many off-road vehicles or events, so there are some disappointing aspects to it that I personally wasn't getting.

However, this update is huge, like "Motorfest 2.0," and is definitely something to be excited about and look forward to!

This will definitely make the game more fun, and may even draw us in even more!

The new IVT car for the summit is way too easy to drive, there's no learning to do with it at all lol. Ive really enjoyed the hypercars as you had to finesse them its quite a contrast... do enjoy the in car view for a change though.
The luxury playlist entry this week is a real disapointment, slow uninspired filler, needed to be said!

Don't know if it's a bug or something, but I just spent a million Bucks on clothing and when I left the menu all the money magically returned. Free clothes? Yes, I was bored a little bit. 😊

The Triumph is out today for Y2 pass (shop next week and I think it will probably be included in that Summit):

I think its useable in the luxury playlist without purchasing it... its just a brief navigation type race though.
