I don't think he ended up an alcoholic, if I remember correctly, he's the only one that stayed out of trouble with the law though. The brother (Todd Bridges?) got busted for some sort of robbery thing (again, if I remember correctly) and then the sister (Dana Plato) posed in Playboy and then spent some time in rehab. Then went on to star in the always popular "Sewer Shark" (I think) for the Sega CD.

But, the little guy (Gary Coleman) was forever typecast as Arnold from Different strokes and didn't have much of a career afterwards. Seems to me he has some wacky medical condition - something to do with his liver or kidneys or something. Although, a couple of years ago, he did guest star on the Simpsons Christmas episode.
