Highest B-Spec speed

G'day... going down that bastard 24 hour sarthe II circuit, in a spec i can reach 400 odd kph, (no nos) yet bobbo can only claim 360?? any tricks to make bobbies foot heavier? oh by the way, bob just took a fancy to the wall... regained conciousness after reaching a lowly 26 kph.... i wish i could smack him with a trout
 
yeah i noticed when i did the nurburgring 24hr that bob doesn't go as fast he should on that long straight. I still won it tho and got the F1 car :)
 
It appears that B-spec cannot reach the same high speeds that can be reached in a-spec, and there isnt any way to make him faster, except upgrading the car more (but he still won't go as fast as a-spec).

As for hitting the wall on the straight, it is a well-documented occurence, it happens frequently to b-spec drivers and the AI. They just suddenly turn into the wall. There is a thread discussing this and many other sarthe 24h glitches here:

Bobby can't drive on the sarthe because he keeps deliberately driving into the sand.
I don't know which bastard's idea it was to put sand at every corner.!!!
 
262mph in a r92 with stage 4 turbo (at the test course) helps when the track has no braking zones :lol:
