Kind of a strange request, but what car in your garage can be sold for the most amount of money. There seems to be ALOT of cars, that arent able to be sold, but just removed.

My F40 sells for $135k

Lamborghini's give quite a lot money. I remember selling my Murcielago superveloce for close to 150k cr.

Not really strange when you take into account glitch abusing to gain credits, no, not really strange at all.
Any car under 500k pretty much has resale value.

None of the race cars can be resold, period. The only one I've sold was the Falken Skyline and it technically doesn't count as a "race car." But the Minolta, the Lexus IS 200 Race Car...not even the RM cars car be resold. I think that would be so no one can do the "race this event to get this car and sell it" thing. Another thing that supports this theory is that the Bugatti Veyron nor the Mazda Furai are sellable, and they're pretty easy to obtain and both would be worth around 500K-1,000,000cr each. I mean, you do the PD cup 20 times and you've reached the cap. And that series is REALLY easy to beat. I don't think there's any car that has a resale value of over 200k.

But you don't get the prize more than once.

True. But, I think that's just another way to prevent the high-price car selling thing. I would suspect they removed this because the money cap is 20 million. I don't think any other GT game has had a money cap. I mean, I've had cheated GT4 games to have over a trillion credits. In GT5, you now have to work and grind for your money. I know I'll be taking full advantage of the "Time Saver Update" while it lasts.

"time saver update"? and I think it's awful that they got rid of the high priced prize car selling thing. that allowed me to actually play around with cars that I wanted to in GT4. I hate doing an hour's worth of racing so I can buy a Lamborghini, or something. it's not "cheating" or "exploiting" or anything else dishonest. it's a way to drive the cars that I'd like to freaking drive.

Yea, you guys caught me. I'm trying to exploit the game save trick. I've grinded through 27 levels, and still have a majority of the race cars to buy. It's ridiculous to go through and keep racing on Daytona to just get 100k. They made it easier to grind with the fast restart, but it feels like work to get these cars or money. But it seems like the highest resell-able car is around 150k. And with how long it takes to do the trick, almost better off racing Daytona to get money. :(

I get the cars for free but saving my game to a usb. Then spend the money, send car to other account, and reload saved game, then go to other account and send car back. Once per day, have not spent a dime of my credits, now I just need to be patient and pass the 1.3M mark I'm at, I'll take my time, I guess.

But why include over 1000 cars if its pretty much impossible for the casual gamer to have a shot to try them all? At least in GT4, you could get some easy money and play around spending money on cars that you probably wouldn't have. Now I don't buy any cool expensive cars that I don't need because I don't have the time to just "grind" away.

I am not having any issues with money...... I have bought a million pointless cars and I have never been grinding for money. I mean you have to "grind" to level anyway........... you get a billion credits just by doing indy over and over to level.

I mean the latest seasonal event gave us 1mil credits for a 15min race around the nurburgring.

The money does feel a bit limited in this game. It was a good step to introducing xp/credits for online, but its still a drop in the bucket compared to what we need to get to the next level. I want to be able to win 10k for a online race, not 1500.

@Jacob6875: Your kidding right? You must be below level 20 or something. Im at level 28 right now. It take 501,386 XP to level to 29. American Championship Indy (Extreme) gives about 4,000 XP right now (with the temporary bonus). So to level up it would take about 125 races on Indy. The race is usually around 5 mins or so casually driving fast. So thats about 11hrs, to level up once. And that will be around $14.6 Million dollars. Not bad money, but thats alot of oval track racing, and that will be enough for me to buy one to three premium race cars. Not even enough to buy a Lamborghini Miura, or Jaguar XJ13 Race Car.

They should allow you to unlock a all tracks with 3 lap races that give you $500,000 and 250,000XP after you reach level 25 or something, cause this is ridiculous. I hate cheating, but i wouldnt mind to cheat in GT5. Sadly I cant even do that...

Be happy GT isn't a real life series. Jeez, do you really want to drive every car? I mean what do you get from that? Buy the cars you want and interest you, I say. Hell, I buy 2CV's just because I love France!
