I maybe be new to this Forum but i have been Drifting on GT3 for alittle over 1 year. And i wondered how fast can everyone else drift around Laguna Seca Raceway. With the cars settings at 500Hp and T1 tires.

I think the fastest that i got was 1 minute and 22 seconds, In my FD

ummm.. if your talking about race drifting, not many people race drift on this forum but you could have a word with Silent-D

I never race on that track and i only use (R) T-5 and T-7's
( mite test see if i can get faster later but )

but yea got any other times.

what car did you use ?

One of the other fastest times that i got high speed drifting on Laguna Seca is 1'25.839 in my 500hp Toyota Supra RZ(J)

I ususally have my cars set to 500hp, no weight reduction's, T1 or T2 tires.

My times are

(1'14.467) at Midfield in my 500hp 300zx Twin Turbo 2 by 2. a.k.a. Z32

(1'15.316) at Midfield II in my 500hp RX-7 RZ(J) a.k.a. FD

(1'19.745) at Midfield II in my 500hp Tom's X540 Chaser (J) a.k.a. JZX100

(1'25.405) at Apricot Hill in my 500hp Rx-7 RZ(J) a.k.a. FD

I ususally use cars with 264-531 using T3,T4 or T7 tyres

Midfield II times: (1'17.790) 371hp ALTEZZA RS200

(1'15.164) 465hp RX-7 (FC3S)

(1'13.298) 513hp RX-8

(1'11.269) 531hp RX-7 (FD)

I've got about 1.27.xxx in Laguna seca way with my 350z it's about 508 hp i think
But i'm not sure about the time is it 1 or 2 min??

The only time that i use T7's or T8's are when i use my A80 (Supra) because i ususally only Drift it 5 laps... then i get borad and Grip drive my Evo 5, so that i can see what it looks like and what i did wrong... You could say that i'm a perfectionist about Drifting.

I don't use those tire other wise because i want it to be like i was actully drifting on the street... I don't want tires that grip that much.

But my set up that i have for my FD is simply stock... besides the racing transmission that i have set at 30. (180 mph)

I don't use a customized Limited Slip Differenal, I use the 1.5 or the 2.0 depending on what car i'm drifting. I only car that i ususally use the 2.0 way is the A80 because it has a very very hard time getting traction with 500hp (even when stock it has a harder time getting traction then any other car)

YAY!!! i've got 1.22.xxx for my time in laguna seca way!!! with my mazda rx8 about 518 hp
I used a t5 tire

What kind of Tires did you use?
But was High Speed Drifting eariler and heres the times that i got...

Deep Forest
(1'19.440) normal Tires on my FD
(1'21.335) normal Tires on my Sprinter Trueno Gt Apex

Special Stage Route 5
(1'26.705) normal Tires on my FD

I can do a 1:21:xxx on Trial Mountain Speed Drifting through Trial Mountain and a 1:19:xxx grip racing through Trial Mountain using my STI 22B with Super Soft Tires with All the available upgrade there is to it.......

I use to Drift 4WD cars but i don't anymore... I use to drift my Evo 5 and Evo 8, but i only use my Evo for grip now.

I never knew there was a evo 8 on gt3.........please inform me how to get that car...if you can really get a evo 8 on gt3.......all i know that the highest evos go up to 7 and thats prototype.

there isnt any evo 8, well anyways for CartecDrift...you shuold try using varieties of settings, because by changing the gear ratio and balancing the brakes, your car can improve couple seconds less....i never give up on trying to make my time faster, but now since im busy i hardly play now, but i can still could if i play for awhile.....

My bad... I its an Evo 7

Eariler i tried Drifting with T8's at Trial Mountain and here was my times.
(1'25.xxx)
(1'24.xxx)
(1'23.244)
(1'22.973)

The first couple times i wasn't use to the tires. But i don't think i did that bad for a FR, trying to get match the time of a 4WD

hey not a bad time Cartec, i guess you could be fast if u grip with AWD on Trial Mountain, you should give me your fastest grip/drift which ever one is faster or you can use both to make a very fast time like 1:19 or less, then i be impress, because its very hard to go faster than that, and if u do, i would like to share some info hahaha, well the more you try, the faster you are......keep it up!!!

Silent-D
