I'm interested in seeing people racing the historic cars... please add me as a friend if you will have replays posted? thank you!

Are you going to race though.

I don't know if I can! I'm terrible still. I'm very new to this altogether, and extremely new to online racing... so I'm looking to just maybe dip a toe in & check it out. But I don't want to anger ppl w/ my "newb-ness". LOL ;)

Do you have any friends you can make a team with?
Edit:And don't worry about being good we're not very good either.

This sounds great and I'm sorry I can't join. I just don't have time in my life to routinely schedule anything related to gaming, no matter how much I would like to. (Plus, until PD makes the online physics and offline physics the same I'm just not going to bother spending much time on GT5).

But like one of the previous posters, I would be interested in seeing any replays you might post from this league.

hi,
please clarify the power range of the cars you are planning to drive.
If its only street cars in the range between a 49' Beetle to early Skylines with a max of approx. 100ps and komfort soft to sport soft, please count me in.

My bf saw this post and offered to team with me... haha. But of course we share a ps3 (not to mention the tv, and most other appliances! haha) so obviously we can't drive at the same time in the same race.

I told him to post here, but he just lurks apparently. ;)

I also need some more explanation about how this works. What the team thing is about, how the races are scheduled or whatever. What tracks are involved. etc etc. I'm COMPLETELY clueless. But interested!

Yes, I was wondering the parameters for PP, HP, & weight, size, & tires.
If it's comfort soft, I'll need a big heads up because I'm even more terrible than usual on comfort tires & would need to practice big time on anything "lesser" than sports medium.

The 2 60s cars I already have from the 60s are a mercury cougar & mazda 110 (cosmo-like?), but I looked at a car list and there's over 40 cars to choose from 1969 & earlier... and I intend to collect them all!! :o)

They are all quite cheap (except the Miura and the 2D, 2J, Ferrari, Ford, Jaguar). So you can easily ask your frinds to gift you some Alpine 110, Fiat 500, 49' Beetle etc.

I think my Alpine is fun fun... but I believe it's a 71 or 73.

Just the racing cars at the moment but if you want we can add a street car only race or two.
Power limit for race cars 500?
Don't know how many the GT40 has.

Each team has to have the same car.
I'll let people decide on what tracks to race on but if it's short it will be 10 laps and if it's long it will be five(exception Nurburgring Nordschliefe&24hours where it will be 2)

The tyres will be racing soft and as I have said max power is 500.

So what time and time zone will the races take place in?

And how often?

And do you have to have a team mate or can we just pair up on the day?

I'm free from 9pm (BST) thru 1am on a friday night and any time on the weekends.

British Summer Time. In the Isle of Man, I imagine thats what you are using right now.

Wah! I don't have any antique race cars yet! I think my bf does, but I'm not sure what.
(Man oh man I've wanted that frog-looking jaguar since I saw it tailgating my bf the whole way through the grand championship in the aspec professional. haha)
