I recommend installing rFactor lite. and then installing this mod onto that. when installing, you must have a gt legends cd in the cdrom drive. :) Enjoy!

This, and the Power and the Glory mod for GTR2, both require the GTL disc to be in the drive or they won't install. They need to use the car models from GTL, and the only way to legally get them, is from a GTL disc.

bad news for me.... :(

I see, I just order the F1 game, I dont want to use my credit card till next month.. so I have to wait till i buy that game.

By the way, Could somone give me Complete car list? And does it adds any new tracks? thanks

Car list I believe is identical to GTL's, about 30 cars. No tracks, as answered a few posts earlier.:)

My god this is by far my favorite mod, amazing work. These cars are so drivable at the limit, really outstanding tire model. Had an online race last night at Mid-Ohio with about 15 cars. Took my trusty Escort RS which is so far my favorite car but haven't tried them all yet. Got punted in lap one but made up several spots in the 20 lapper.

The sound has to be heard to be believed, just brutal.

I love GTL, but this just took it up another notch.

I came back to this after running iRacing for several days and I wasn't disappointed, and that's saying something if you've tried iRacing which is the new benchmark.

GTL can be found for $10. This mod is worth probably $200!

there's a few cars in the game that aren't in GTL. and also, there's an upcomming late 70's and 80's car addon :)

Yeah the escort is awsome. I also like the Shelby cars, The Daytona is awsome, and the 427 cobra has endless almost cartoon like power :D

I like the 1974 corvettes too. gt40 is the best.

I tried to buy GT legends but it's still to expensive.(sorry where is it selling from 10$?
and I respect to this mod because people are saying it's even better than GTL but what is the point of buying GTL for this mod? :confused

OH WOW nice find. I am about to order it ! 10 buks!

So they are making 70s and 80s car racing as well? nice
I am hoping for Late 80s and early 90s (especially DTM)
I think the cars made in late 80s early 90s were best cars to ever see the world. Especially tank cars E-series ;)

this is a Must Download! I just had a few really great races. Porschewheel/g25 + historix mod= cardio exercise. I don't sweat as much when i run 2 miles in 12 minutes as i did from racing for 10 laps... :p maybe i am trying too hard. Racing against actual people is much more stressful because you don't want to hit them and ruin your reputation :D

I have the rFactor demo disk that came along with the G25 but I can't buy the activation code (I don't have a credit card), so the mod won't work. :(

Can you play the Historic GT mod on three monitors (TH2go digital or softTH)?

And what about power&glory? (==> multi monitor support)?

glad i downloaded this. i dont download a whole lot of add-ons but im really glad i downloaded this one. taking the stingray out for a drive is by far the most fun and biggest challenge ive had in a long while.

And I'm glad I didn't get rFactor (found a friend whom has a credit card). I'm content with GTL and PnG.

I started playing GTL, and PnG on pc. Now I remember why I sold my gaming pc 2 and a half year ago. A console is so much more user-friendly compared to a pc (and less expensive).
I'm still hoping that Glimey!'s 2 new sim will also be available on console.

I started to play Historic GT and I'm impressed. Although I find the sounds of some cars exaggerated. I can play it over and over again, although I don't have rFactor (only the demo).

yeah haha, you should also turn down opponent sound a bit so you can hear your own engine when driving side by side. I'm tryin to sign up for a league in this game. I think i got an email about a league invitation, but i can't find it :(

Any sugestion where to download realistic and good looking (graphics wise) tracks for this mod?

Now that I've started playing Historic GT and GTL, I'm loosing interest in GT5p -again-.

I'm only hotlapping without the AI, so the AI's engine sound is not a problem.

So I don't need the full game of rFactor, but only GTL?

I used to think you just needing rfactor lite (i think it allows 1 hour of gameplay) but i've heard people say you need to buy rfactor to play the mod. You don't have to install GTL, you just need to have the cd in the drive when installing the mod.

One and a half year later and I'm reviving this thread because it's necessary.

The HistorX mod team is about to release Historic GT & TC 2.0. You can install this mod over the first part or as a stand alone installment.

I'm eagerly awaiting the release of this mod.
