Anyone have any recommendations on what car to use for this and the proper tune for it?

Have you got any birthday cars? I used the Ford for a spec and the Ferrari for b spec.

I used the countach lp-400 (fully tuned) i think it is. you've really got to work hard with it to win the deep forest race, but it's great fun.

Think I used the Chapparal 2J, worked like a charm! Love that car btw. It's so ugly it's charming ^^

Used the AC Cobra on Monaco and the countach on Deep Forest Raceway, both fully tuned.

Two things that i found handy after crying my eyes out on that event:

1) Do not forget the aero parts on the countach, helps greatly with cornering and stability in DFR.
2) If you do not have any of the opponent car, I suggest you restart your race until there's no Chaparral 2J or Tooyta 7 in the first 6 positions.
3) Get someone behind you to massage you while applying point 2., repeat point 2. about one hundred times until you might have a chance to win.
4) Drive
5) Rage at what you get in return of winning the event.

Play b-spec until you win like the wind and you get a toyota 7, this is a nice car for historic racing cup!

for a-spec, use Dodge Challenger R/T '70 with fully tune
and change the max speed to 300km/h
it's hard to win but it's possible
try to get 2nd place at turn 1

The Toyota 7 will work for B-spec. Keep entering and racing until the Chaparral 2J is gridded on the 3rd row, about 8 races. He will wreck bad and not be a factor.

The 2J crashes lots, you're right. Unfortunately my Bob just crashes into him every time while others drive by.

i´ve got the toyota 7, caparell 2J and Ferrari 330 and a lvl21, a lvl9, a lvl8 and two lvl0 bobs and can´t win the code a´zure race in this cup!

it´s the only race in the expertseries i can´t win
can you guess how im ****ed off
