I have been trying at the Historic car Racing series in Expert, but have been unable to do it with my RM Camaro. Any suggestions? I've got about a million credits to throw around.

What? I found it fairly easy with both the RM Camaro and Challenger when I had the game, but the Camaro handled much better, where the Challenger was quicker. No need to buy an expensive classic race car as you just need to tune them a little. Lower the top speed on the transmission to about 175 to 180 MPH to have quicker gearing, set the ride hieght at the lowest, and put some Racing soft tyres on, that should help a lot.

The common cars that everyone seems to be using are the chapparal 2J( $14million on the used car lot) or the Toyota 7 race car ( which you win after you complete the " like the wind challenge" in B spec. 👍

I guess I'll either be extremely patient and save a lot of credits, or just keep trying with my Camaro. I've been trying to find a Corvette Zo6 C2 in the car lot that I could potentially tune to win.

that's more then all the race cars exept the 2J and corvette racecars, just use the settings in my previous reply and that should help alot. The 70 Challenger RM can be upgraded up to 760 HP! but the Camaro handles much better!
hope that helps!👍

No one has to post on Your page, and cut him some slack, he's a new member so I doubt he knows much about using the search function, so theres no need to get frustrated!:)

Thanks. I'm still getting used to the forum. It's also good to start to talk to some members instead of just reading.

No problem, not everyone knows the same things as others, but you don't have to have attitude about it, it doesn't help one bit! Im still listed as a new member so I understand it takes time to get used to everything.

I get that, but the frustration arises when you see the same post everyday. I don't mean to be rude, but it's the same drum beat over and over. There's always posts about this or "Like The Wind." The information is out there, the question has already been answered.

Yes, it's nice to interact and to be active, but you can do that in other areas of this forum. Or you could find a thread about this specific subject, and post in it. I very often go back to threads that I've posted on if I see that people have added to it.

Tip: If you click your handle in the top right, then go to Statistics, you can see all the threads you've posted on and a snippet of what you said. If there's a blue circle by it, then someone else has added to the conversation.

Anyways, welcome to GTP. I've only been posting on her myself for about a month. It won't take too long for you to get your bearings--or begin to get annoyed by repeat threads popping up twice daily.

Thanks you. I appreciate the info.

Just an update, I finally beat the race with my RM Challenger. I beat the Toyota 7 by .084 seconds. It was a nail biter!
