Though I have always used manual (now with clutch in GT5P) I can understand not everyone can or wants to, I'm sure he has seen all the manual preaching before.
If you can't hold gears in the auto in GT5P, I doubt you will be able to in the full GT5, but you never know.

its not that I don't use manual, but sometimes I can't be bothered so I put it on auto
manuals bother you? trust me practice practice practice... after a day or 2 it will come very natural and bother free..
I drive a manual in real-life and GT5P (DF), but I wonder if using the paddles will yield quicker lap times than the stick with a G25 setup. (Don't have G25 yet but, I will)
