Oh and my Camaro is reletively easy to change 7 of the 8 spark plugs. The one that is on the bottom by the firewall is a bitch to get to so I haven't changed it in years because of my lack of patience.
Conventional wisdom I've heard from several last-gen F-body owners is that most people just trade them in before they manage to change all 8 plugs.

I was seriously considering buying a nuGTO a few years ago, and was very pleasantly surprised to see that it looked relatively easy to work on under the hood.

No it isnt, this is:

the one you pictured doesnt have traction control :)👍
I'll elaborate when I get to school I have to leave now.

Ok, we took off the little black tube on the left which was easy. It was just the 90 degree bend. There is a bracket on the left of the IM under where the opeining is, 4 bolts off, easily done. Now there is a cover on the front of the engine (the part that says 24 valve DOHC or whatever), that covered the front 2 plugs only had 6 bolts, easy. Back cover covered the back 2 plugs, 4 bolts, easy. Now for the fun part at the split just to the right of the traction control on the IM, there are 8 bolts/nuts that have to be removed. Needless to say, 7 of them were easily accessable. The last one would be the toughest. If you look at the bolt on top closest to the firewall, it is the one toward the ground of that one. It took me and my dad probably 40 minutes to remove. It was me holding a socket with 2 extentions on it, and my dad aiming the light. I had my head resting on the vented area just under the wipers. If he held the light just right, I could see half of the bolt. When I managed to get it on there, my dad came along with a ratchet with another extention and a (forgot the name) it allows you to hold the ratchet on an angle and still be on the bolt. It took several attempts but we finally got it.
Keep in mind that this is simply to change the spark plugs, we did wires, cap, and roto too but that did not add to the difficulty.

I may add to the picture later today just to illustrate what I just typed, to make it easier to understand.

For anyone who cares, heres the updated picture:

Red box on the left is the tube that needed to be removed.
Top center, and bottom center are the 2 covers that needed to be taken off.
Small red box on the top right is the nut opposite of the one that gave us trouble. Go directly down from that one.
Large blue box is how much of the manifold we loosened.
